Ocean Family Vacation ideas

Hi, all
I am looking for suggestions for us to check into for an ocean family vacation.

We all agree that we want to see the ocean and maybe wade in it or swim....
Price needs to be reasonable vs. outrageous.

One of the places we are looking into is Quintana Beach in Freeport.
Anyone know if water is murky there?

Suggestions welcome for our family's ocean experience - there will be 4-6 of us.

my husband and I went to Freeport Bahamas? last year. Is that what destination you are talking about or is it in the u.s.? If it is the Bahamas, let me know and I will fill you in on our trip. BTW it was GRAND!!

Got room for one more...lol...ahh to get away from hubby and kids for awhile and lay in the sun and drink what ever i want would be grand..heheheh

Bahamas! I wish!....Nope, not Bahamas.
Looking into Freeport, Texas - just S of Galveston.

The Bahamas are not all that expensive. Last year my husband and I, my twin sister and her husband found an "all inclusive" vacation to Freeport Bahama. This included air fare, hotel, three meals a day and alcoholic beverages. Cost about 900.00 per person. Didn't have to worry about carrying money to pay for anything. It was great. This year we are going to Nassau, same all inclusive for about 1100.00 per person. Going middle of June, am getting real excited about it.
