Brugmansia Forum Paging... FYI

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

In an attempt to locate information I had seen on the Brugmansia Forum since the DG Search Function has been taken down and neither Yahoo or Google search attempts were successful, I began paging through the Forum. However when I went to the 20th page and attempted to go beyond it does not do so. It stays on the 20th page, or Feb 8 .

What are you looking for?

dave

I've reinstated the search so you can find what you're looking for.

I also limited the search so that only subscribers may use it. That should help the load.

Thanks Dave! Now could you help me remember what I was looking for yestereday and couldn't find? :-)

Happenstance, you used the PF search 31 times yesterday, and only used the forums search once (in which you searched for flower).

Ohhh... we can search but we can't hide, eh? *giggle*

It certainly makes sense to limit the special DG Forum search to subscribers since members can only read the first posts in the majority of Forums, at least on the short term. How nice if it solves those sporadic slow downs! :)

I'd been wondering what was going on! I was doing a search the other day, and when I clicked the next page it was sooooooooooooooo slow...... that I'd minimize it and open up another browser to do something else while it was loading!

Good idea. While we want to encourage new subscribers to join Dave's, they sometimes are the ones who have the most questions to post and need the PlantFiles.

Let 'em join up. It is one of the cheapest horticultural courses they will ever buy. Also, there are ways of providing for those few who really, really want to join but can't afford to do so.

People need to be recognized for their efforts ( Dave's Gardens) and paid also. If I can pay or make a donation for free software I use regularly, why can't they pay for a web site they use frequently?

What is the difference in a subscriber and a member?
Which one am I? LOL

The best kind, Viv - both! Anyone can register to be a member, but only the specialist folks are subscribers. ;)

Say, Dave fixed the Brug Banner... :)

TuttiFrutti, you are the first to notice. :)

Am I dreaming or is the real, good old DG Forum Search back?
If so, thank you ever sooo much!

Guess you've been too busy to come by and say hi, Dave, but WE noticed it yesterday morning! Thanks again!
