Lost Mail !?!?

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I really don't know how the letter got to me, but it was in my mailbox yesterday. It was very neatly addressed from a business in Denver, CO to a man in Fort Collins, CO. Somehow it got sidetracked to Illinois and ended up at my house. The only thing in common in the addresses is the house number 500, and he is on Prospect Ave, I am on Mt Prospect Rd. But Des Plaines, IL doesn't look at all like Fort Collins, CO. The zip code was correct for Ft. Collins, how the heck did I get it!?!?!? I'll drop it off at the post office on Monday, I sure hope this isn't something real important he was waiting for!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I've gotten things that were stuck against mail that was addressed to me before. Sometimes mail gets in between magazine pages and hitches a ride, too. Weird how it can happen sometimes!

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

I had one from WA a couple of years ago. It was a credit card payment to a place in Arizona and was inside an advertising flyer. Postmaster said they call it a 'piggyback'. I called information and got the phone nu of the sender. Called them and asked what they wanted me to do with it. By then the payment was late, of course. They said to send it on and I did. I also gave them my phone nu incase they had to dispute late charges. They never called so I guess they got it all squared away. Not so strange as yours tho, momcat. Sounds like some machine (or person) forgot how to read!! lol
