Sorry if this has been asked already!

Kennewick, WA(Zone 6b)

Hello!

looked at old threads and could not find the answer so I will just ask.

Is there a way to see a list of the threads that I am watching?

Thank you!!!

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

Click on "My Info" under the Forums tab at the top. You'll see there a link to "see the threads you are watching".

HTH,

Flower,
At the top of the DG page click on "My Info". Then scroll down and click on "Threads I am Watching."

Kennewick, WA(Zone 6b)

Thank you!!!

Just write STUPID on my forehead! LOL

Shenandoah Valley, VA(Zone 6b)

but what about a way to find threads I've responded to (and forgot I did). This is the first place I've not been able to see that.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

zeppy, that one's a little more difficult.

If you started the thread, you can find it in your info (see above.)

When replying to a thread and you want to check back on it later, you need to choose to add it to your "watched thread" list. (You can do this for ANY thread - whether you reply to it, or are simply keeping up with it.)

You'll find a link to watch this thread at the top of each thread, or as an option to click on after you submit a reply to a thread. (If you start a thread, the system assumes you want to watch it, and automatically sets you up for it.)

If you have some idea of the thread you're looking for, send us a note at the helpdesk, and as a courtesy, we can research your posts to find it for you.

I added the feature. Go to your "My Info" page, and click to view all your posts.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

You know that begs the question: Who's in the "Court of Gasbags" now? Do we have a new reigning monarch or some additional heir apparents? Surely a few new dukes and duchesses have arrived on a tidal wave of their own posts....(*smile*)

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

Rut roh... just glanced at my list of posts... what a chatterbox! LOL

Nice new feature, Dave. :)

Shenandoah Valley, VA(Zone 6b)

Well, that's service. Thank you!

Kennewick, WA(Zone 6b)

WOW!
Thank you Dave. I am glad that I asked such a silly question! : )

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Flower, There is no such thing as a silly question! If you had not asked your question......

Northern California, CA

Thanks Dave......but it is truly frightening to see! :-)

Edited to say......do you realize my numbers just went up by 1

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

THANKS Dave! This is one we had asked about previously and I'm glad to see it.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

If the server just ground to a halt for everyone, it was because I just viewed the posts I've made. Holy moley! I won't do that too often, LOL!

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Dave, you once posted a list of the people with the most 'watched threads'. I know GW was at the top if not #1. Have you got a similar list for most posts? (I bet GW is #1 there).

McKinney, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow! Thanks Dave! I have wanted this feature in the past when trying to find a post I responded to that is no longer active. Very Cool!

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

Thanks Dave for that very handy feature!

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Viewing my posts is VERY nice enhancement....would it break the bank if we had the additional filter of Forum? I know that's a feature when looking at threads people have started.

Good idea - it's done!

Albany (again), NY(Zone 5b)

Awesome....you could teach Larry Ellison a few things ... ;-)

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

Gee, Dave, that took you all of 56 minutes. You slowing down or something.......?

I did it as soon as I read the post. :)

Everson, WA(Zone 8a)

You mean at 12:59? LOL

Yeah that's about right. I had already written the code for that, so it was easy to enable it. :)

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Filter of forum? What's that?

Kennewick, WA(Zone 6b)

I am glad you asked JoanJ. I want to know what everyone is happy about!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I think if you'll go to your "My Info" link and click on the link to the posts you've made, you'll find there's a filter so you can narrow down your view to a particular forum you've posted to. (Helpful in case you're searching for a particular thread ;o)

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

Okay, I get it now. I didn't realize that wasn't always there. :)

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Wow - that is a very interesting feature. Thanks, Dave! Have to admit it's causing more than a little chagrin over here....esp. after that "Gasbag" question, Terry...lolol

So, if a person were curious about how many posts they'd made - there's what, an average of about 50 per page, and multiply that by the number of pages? Or is there another way, that I'm missing?

Shannon

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Wow, I was just thinking yesterday that it would be great to filter by forum, too. And it's implemented in all the stuff we can pull up on our member pages. Whee!

Dublin, OH(Zone 5a)

Great!

Thanks for those who suggested those great ideas and Dave for making it happen.
