The 'one' I found wilted the next afternoon. (not maya) I watered heavily around the rootball and it was all perked up in a couple of hours.
Not answering my question LOL....whats in the fish tank that the brugs love so much lol....enquiring minds want to know....I may have to have a fish tank soon hehehe...I used to have quite a few but gave them up when we moved down here to hickville! When you clean out your tank from the bottom with the vacuum do you use that?
I'm with BrugAddict on the fish tank inquiring mind are wanting to know.

Hey! I'm trying to be memorial here with my flag and beer!
It's just a 55gal with corydoras, giant danios, clown loach, synodontis, plecostomas and a couple of fantail goldfish. Just some fish that provide color and motion.
Container - water - fish: then regular water changes and in the house I just use the fish water.
:) You could always go down and siphon water out of the local retention pond or something. :)

Wow you have lots of fish! I bet it's a pretty good sized aquarium....I just love the clown loach :-) Used to have a fantail goldfish too, it was so beautiful Blaine. Then one day she went belly up :-( Litterally
Hey maybe I could just go down to the pond in the back property which is my FIL's pond lol..and cyphon his pond for sludge. Ya think? lol NOT! Maybe I'll get the DH to do it for me hehehe...I'm skeered of snakes ya know!

Have DH put a small pump down there. Put some kind of screen over intake end of hose and only use it to water your plants. They will love it.
Mine bit the dust :-( Turned all mushy on me. I watered sparingly from the bottom but it was so small and tiny, it was hanging on by just a little hair of a root when I took it out of the soil to see how far down the mush went,

I expanded my center bed by 2.5'. Flipped it to 16", removed sod then tilled in 3 bags of MG potting soil with moisture control and a couple of pounds of alfalfa meal. Other than the top 2 or 3" of topsoil put down when the house was built in '94 the rest was back fill.
This is on the north side of the center bed so the Autumn Damask (red rose just starting to bloom) and the windmill smothered by clematis will provide a little shade in the heat.
I stuck Zephrine Drouhin roses on each end, 3 of the Adora x palepink crosses from brugaddict, Snowbank (short variegated one) and Maya. The 2nd Maya will get holes drilled in the pot and planted in a different location this weekend.

I really LOVE your little bubbler and it's exactly what I'm going to do when I have some cuttings. I'm going to bubbler them inside where it will be cooler than the GH. Your whole operation is fantastic, WOW!!!!

well thanks ladies but you're only seeing my 'game face'. This weekend is going to be glorious as the damask and ogr roses are all opening besides the other stuff thats kicking in. You oughta see the skanked up herrenhausen and Dr. Seuss. Got mites and was too close to the space heater and have looked chlorotic and nasty (along with a couple of suavs) for several weeks. I'll have a good long drink about it... I mean think about it this weekend and may just trash 'em all. We'll see what me and Budlight decides on. :)
