Coffee and...part 10! :-D

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Sitting for long periods causes leg/feet swelling because the position of your body does not allow proper circulation of the lymp system. It's why they advise you to move around on a long plane trip.

and speaking of trips, my favorite method is my car... I can change direction at my own whim, choose an interesting road or different town - find an alternative route.

For me the trip is the trip - the arrival is incidental. heehee that was clear -NOT - it's the going not the getting there. I just like the passing scene, the next bend, a gypsy.

I've been where the Daltons lost it, spent an afternoon finding Laura's little house. disovered a 'southern belle' in the fields down there somewhere... open to the public, beautiful place.

Camped at Boonesborough St. Park, brought hand dipped candles to my sister; spent a rainy night in a lean-to campsite in Vermont while looking to see all the covered bridges twixt Rutland and Middlebury - have to do that one again. The rain/flooding caused several of them to be inaccessible.

Angled south across Kentucky to include the Cumberland Gap on my way from utah to upstate new york. heck of a road, and to think they thought that the 'easy' way or was it the 'only' way ??

Sorry, I do ramble. obviously. I'll just add that for terror in driving- the roads anywhere in the Appalachins win the blue ribbon... I dare say I've become a flatlander, driving the deserts so much.

Oh, wow, conversation took a turn while I got called to the door midpost.

Around here a shower doesn't necessarily involve cooking - it's usually coffee and cookies /bakery/.
has she girl friends? I mean to invite? is this her idea or mother's?
I'm with Maria, hate rules, usually ignore them. We do have a fair number of not by the rules relationships/marriages out here.

thanks aria - that "what's best in ones heart" really got to me (teary eyed now...) I'm thinking of asking the other DIL to host it and I will pick up the bill for it. Thought retirement would be easy, but I think I need to find a job now! Thanks again..

Hello, I'm baaaaack.... : )

Fortunately I have no radio in my truck so I didn't know I was driving all across Georgia yesterday through toronado warnings and watches! (I did drive through some really nasty weather.) I didn't get home until about 9:30 pm because I had to have a new brake calipher put on first so got a late start. Since I don't drive well after dark and it was raining and foggy, I was a bit nervous, to say the least.

My apartment was 45º but warmed up quickly. A paid helper came over this morning and helped get the oxygen condenser, computer & monitor out of the truck so I'm set up and running again!

Lots of mail to open, bills to pay, and an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Plus I don't remember why I left this apartment so nasty. I'll be 3 days cleaning it up! I need to do some grocery shopping. The 'fridge looks like that of a bachelor, devoid of anything edible except pickles.

Glad to be back!

Darius I was watching that batch of tornados and wondering if you would run into it and hoping you'd miss them all. Glad ya did. )

Thanks. I think my brother (whom I had just left) was about to wet his pants until I got home and checked in!

Hey darius - welcome back to the 'club' - glad to see you made it thru the nasty weather. I don't see well at night, so I try stay off the roads at that time - glare about blinds me!!

Just called my garden buddy and told her "I gotta get outta here!!" We visited two garden stores. Came home with 7 primrose plants to give out at Easter and a rabbit fern for 1.99 - It was a huge thing - they told me it likes to go out side in the summer (whens that???)

Gonna leave for the huff nd puff in a minute. Don't really want to go, but I ate over 12 mini peanut butter cups and they have already planted themselves on my hinnie....

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Hello again. Darius, I'm glad to hear that you are home again safe and sound. Is it looking like spring there yet?

Our company left this morning and it is very strange to be in the house all by myself again! They are delightful people and we love them dearly but that many people in a small house makes it a really small house! Last evening we went out to have Chinese dinner, ummm good! and brought home leftovers so there is supper tonight too. In my opinion Chinese food is the best bargain on the restaurant market and it is very tasty too.

I spent some time reading posts on this thread since I have been away from the computer and have concluded it is impossible to keep up with all of you folks. Blink and I have missed a whole lotta stuff.

The lambing thing is still going on, slow but steady. We are down to about 25 ewes that haven't lambed and the baby lambs pasture is getting to be a very lively place with all those frisky little lambs running around. The weather turned cold and nasty for the past couple of days and nights but it might have passed for the time being so I'm going to get bundled up and go for a ride in the sun and wind. At least it is not raining, snowing or hailing this afternoon. We lost at least one lamb to the weather conditions, it got chilled and even though it got warmed up in the barrel under the heat lamp and was fed at least twice over the next few hours we couldn't get it to want to live. They seem to decide to die and just give up and that is that. One of the sad realities of farming.

It's only 11 days until the start of the endurance riding season and I've gotta put some miles and hours on the horse who gets the job on April 2. They got new shoes this morning. Every year I think maybe the horse isn't ready, and every year he is so I shouldn't worry about it. See you later.

Blooms - it was the mother that called me - she is a real manipulater and I try stay as far from her as I can (but wouldn't you know she moved around the corner from us!!) She is a person that is always giving you compliments - but they are soooo fake. Doesn't have a pot to pee in and is always deep in debt. Wants to go shopping with me at a bridal shop for a dress - I hate to tell her, but I'm going to JcPenneys!! Can't see spending a ton on a dress that I will wear once!!! (squeek - squeek!) Actually I have the one that I wore to son #1 wedding and would love to wear it again!! Who would know or care (the bride probably LOL)

I am still thinking about what to do...Asked DH, but he is absolutely no help (men) - he says 'she'll get over it' (meaning no shower) And yes there are people to invite - I went to every one of my cousins showers and it is payback time!! LOL

Those darn peanut butter cups keep calling to me - I should just finish off the bag and be done with it...

Weather man just said in two weeks we will have normal temps - 50's =man can wait!!!

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

And I can not belief we are going to have about 12' of snow tonight and tomorrow, the most depressing winter I have ever witnessed.
and just when thought spring has arrived .

Sarv, you wear the dress you have!

Sarv, I'm with Maria [and you] if you have a suitable dress you've only worn once - well fer heavens sake wear it. Never understood the need for anyone but the bride to have the fancy new. She's the star. for the day.

south of Grand Rapid, MI(Zone 5a)

LOL Maria- you are a woman after my heart!!! I'd love to wear the dress again - then I could spend my money on something I love (plants!!)

That 12 inc of snow really stinkssssss. I'm hoping with this long winter we won't have any unexpected late frosts in our area. That would be some (but now much) consulation.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

Speaking of clothes, I have some and still use that are 20to 30 years old, and are very nice..
In the picture below I am wearing a shirt, that is about that old. I bought it for the holidays
.This was an afternoon tea at my MIL for us, my husband and me. The head you see in the bottom right is my GD, she is now nearly 22 years old.
My point is one does not have to run out to buy something every time there is a special occassion.

Sarv: WEAR YOUR OWN DRESS... and buy plants, LOL.

Do you only want to hear a beautiful piece of music just once? Or see a glorious piece of art just once?

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

darius - so glad you made it home okay!! I was crossing all my fingers and toes for you... lol

Sarv - wear the dress you have - no need for a new one if you don't need one. My sister bought her first mother-of-the-bride dress at the second-hand shop here in IA. She found BIL's suit at a second-hand shop in WI, where she lives. Bought new shoes to match the dress, a new shirt and tie for hubby and they were dressed to the 't'! DS has 6 kids, (4 girls), so she's a really good bargain shopper! :)

I tend to be a peacemaker (y'know, middle child and all that bunk! lol), and I guess I would figure out a way to give the girl a shower. Sounds like it's the only one she'll have and after all, it is payback time for the relatics, right? :D

Hi to everyone else. I don't always have a reply for everyone, but I enjoy everyone's posts.

Loving the new job - so-o-o-o-o much to learn. Every single Ctrl and Alt and Func. key is used for some sort of command, or shortcut. For example, Alt T means You're Welcome and Ctrl Q means Ask Questions. (Those aren't real macros, everything is confidential, so I can't even say what they really mean.) You can't even talk to another employee about calls or ask their help with a call, when you are on 'the floor'. You must call the supervisor or her/his superior for help, because you may be dealing with very sensitive material. You can't look at another CA's (Communication Assistant) monitor when they are relaying a call. You go thru one security door to get into the bldg. and then another to get on 'the floor'.

Every three months you are retested for typing speed, must remain above 60 wpm, and take a call relay review of some sort. ? Not sure how that works because calls are not saved - think of your own phone conversation, it is not saved anywhere, neither is a relay-assisted call.

When you have only one person on the line, you are in 'operator' mode. When you have an inbound user and an outbound user, then you are only the phone line between them and you may not participate in the conversation, beyond reading the text message to the hearing impaired user, and saying 'one moment please' and then 'go ahead' to slow the speaker down to typing speed.

Now it's late and I've been catching up on DG the past 3 hours. Time to hit the hay!!! Night all, sleep well!

south of Grand Rapid, MI(Zone 5a)

Yikes Kooger - I thought you were working at a day care place! What did I miss?? Anything where I have to be tested - I absolutely freeze! I remember taking a typing test for a secretarial job once and I got my fingers on the wrong keys and did the whole thing in a 'wrong mode' - that was when you had manual typewriters tho and didn't have a screen to look at! Needless to say, didn't get that job! I am a decent typist still tho

Ok gals, slept on the dress problem and shower problem and have come to the decision. I will get a modestly priced new dress/shoes and will pay to host the shower at my mom's house. Now that I've decided, I feel better. I don't know why I let things bother me so much - it's life long problem for me. I keep telling myself that everyone has problems - just deal with it and get on with life! Sun is out and that always makes me feel so much better !

I do need to get a seed starting mat - my seeds are just sitting there doing nuttin. Do I need a thermostat controlled one or just a plug in model. Never had one before - need some input here!

Still nothing worth while to munch on- altho I still have about a dozen of those dang blasted peanute butter cups (saw DH snitch some - he's got the sweet tooth too!)

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

sarv, I was going to post and tell you that yes, there is a rule of etiquette that says the mother of the bride is not supposed to give a bridal shower. I'm not sure why, though. In this case, it all definitiely sounds financial. This poor girl deserves some happiness. I just hope all that past life does not taint her ability to be happy in her new life. Sometimes we take our troubles with us. It's very hard to put the past behind us especially when it structures our thinking.
darius, glad you are home and everything is OK. I am going to start gonig down to the Pickens flea market now that the weather has warmed up and I will still be buying lottery tickets for us from time to time. I'd still love to split winnings 50/50 with you, lol.

waukesha, WI(Zone 5a)

WELCOME BACK DARIUS!! Glad you're home safe and sound in spite of the threatening weather. I drove through the Smokies in a terrible storm with my sister behind the wheel, took me a whole day to unclench my hands afterwards! Too bad those naughty gremlins came and messed up your living quarters while you were gone. They do that here too...and blame it on the cats.

Too late to comment on your choice of attire, Sarv....but I'd have worn the dress I had, and taken up the gracious offer of a place to have the shower.....the girl needs a show of support even if her mother is a conniving goofball. (Don't invite her....lol) Local tradition here is that immediate family members don't do a shower for the bride, but since I've flown in the face of tradition for most of my life, that wouldn't stop me. Follow your heart.

Kooger that sounds like quite a job! Do you feel like Big Brother is watching? Long before it became common knowledge, I used to tell my employees and coworkers that they shouldn't put anything in their email they didn't want their boss to read....some of them thought I was paranoid, and then a couple of people outside of our department got fired and then they knew I was giving them good advice. My first "real job" (other than babysitting and slinging hash) was steno typing and I took the test on a miserably cold day and my fingers were frozen ....fortunately, I didn't get the typing job but they offered me something much better and it gave me a great career.

We've got a wedding coming up next month too, my DIL's son, so I'm doing the dress kvetching thing too, although shoes are a bigger problem. I'm in Nike's or Reeboks all the time because my arch supports fit in them but I don't think they'd look too good with a dress. And I only have ONE dress (imagine that!) left over from my son's wedding and it's very summery and light....so I dont think I'll be wearing a dress. I'm not really in-law category,( grandmother in law once removed?) so maybe I can get away with a dressy two piece pants outfit. And comb my hair. And find some semi-dressy shoes. Sigh.

I'm with Blooms, car travel is the best! Stop anywhere you want to, meander and find out of the way places (found a fabulous smoked meat shop in Central Wisconsin once while getting confused by detour signs, smelled it first and then tracked it down. I feel helpless without my car, I want to be able to come and go as I please, and not at someone else's mercy. Sometimes DH and I take separate cars to the same place because I want to wander off the "point A to point B" trail, and he has no patience for that. Must have inherited my dad's itchy foot. Gas prices are making me plan better lately, but I'm still running around.....

Still getting lambs Mary! You'll have so much free time after lambing is over you won't know what to do with it! It must be a real kick watching them once they get their land legs!

See y'all later...sun's shining!!

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

When I travel to the coast of NC, where I have family, I have several stops along the way that I enjoy. One little town specializes in smoked turkeys, just past Charlotte there is a crystal shop I like to visit. Just inland from Wilmington is Rocky Point and I like to get blueberries near there, in Burgaw and liver pudding (sausage variety) from the manufacturer. Of course, when I get near the ocean, I know places where I can get shrimp straight off the boats in the afternoons. I pack them in ice and bring them home and freeze them up. Last time I did this, the shrimp were about 80 cents a pound, heads off.

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

M5, I'm with you about having my own wheels. Nothing freaks me out more than not being able to go if I want to... When my truck is in the shop I go into withdrawal, LOL.

Betty, I bought jumbo shrimp at the ferry crossing on A1A near Mayport FL (where the shrimpers come in) on Monday. $6.95 a pound (heads off) but very, very nice. Put them singly on a cookie sheet and froze them overnight in my brother's freezer. Packed them in newspaper then in the cooler and they were still frozen after a 10 hour trip home.

Not as cheap as the ones Justmelisa brought to the KYRU for $3/pound (heads on) but twice the size. Bobby (my brother) did a bunch on the grill Monday night but he over-seasoned them and I didn't like them very much.

There used to be a fantastic BBQ place along the road above Waycross but I couldn't find it this trip. Sigh. But, every trip I make has favorite places for food along the way so driving is both fun and anticipatory for me.

waukesha, WI(Zone 5a)

My sister and her DH just sold their house in Carolina Beach for a disgustingly HUGE amount of money (and it's already back on the market...has a large lot so someone will likely buy and raze it to build a couple of duplexes). They are now in Wilmington, so they didn't go far. I'll have to tell her about the blueberry place in Burgaw...

Told my DH if they ever take away my driver's license, he might as well take me out and shoot me..

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

M-5 aaah a fellow gypsy. the travelin is the fun part right? I'm always into 'where does that road go?' only bad weather puts me into the direct route mode.

Point a - point b driving is not near as much fun. I avoid interstates and large cities [get lost] where alternatives are available.

I will spend half the day wandering thru little towns and stopping at second hand stores and local eateries - then jump on an interstate and go like blazes til dark if I have a need to 'hurry it up'. lol

Straight line driving the 'big' roads the trip from here to Sis' is about 4 days, always takes me at least a week. hafta check out different routes along the way. Most folks wouldn't figure Nc was 'on the way' LOL

Good Morning to everyone...as usual lately I'm in a rush so this will be short and sweet. LOL

Darius I'm SO glad you made it back safe and sound.

Kooger...all this for a Day Care job??? :-D Is there something you neglected to tell us. LOL

Sarv...if I *had* a dress, I probably wouldn't go buy another cuz I'm not much of dress-wearer these days. LOL

Family problems still in limbo...I hate it when people (in my family) decide they'll "sell" half of their kids for whatever *seems* more important to them at the time. ARGHHHHH Divorce with children involved...it sucks!

Did I ever mention that I have one of THE most wonderful little granddaughters?
:-D Of course I have...but since taking care of Angelina Marie, she has sure wrapped herself around this granny's heart in a BIG way! :-)

Time to check the plants. OH! I was going to tell Sarv that the heat mats are really making a big difference in the way my seedlings are taking off. I have some that I planted just 6 weeks ago that already look like I bought them from the nursery.

Now, I can sign off...

Have a GREAT day!

We tented a lot before children, loved it but never slept in a car, they were

My Winter Sown containers are beginning to POP with seedlings! I'm so excited! I didn't check all of them (105 containers!) but several already have little sprouts!

Does that mean it's *SPRING* time? (someone please say "yes" LOL)

Tulips, daffys, and hyacinths are poking their heads up here. It was sunny all day and nice. I took some plants out to my new GH and just set them in there for the day - getting some extra sun that way! Had to bring them in for the night as we are expecting cold weather - snow even - drat... But next week it is supposed to hit 50 - a heat wave!!

DH is making dinner tonight- I just didn't feel like cooking at all. Thank goodness he loves to cook. He is a meat and potato and gravy and butter kinda guy - hard to diet with him cooking. He's doing ham on the grill along with baked beans. Not my absolute favorite, but I'll eat anything - I'm hungry!

Yahoo - winter sowing sprouts - congrads. I did that once, but I prefer to do seeds inside under lights. I have the room, so I do it that way - spend hours looking at what I am growing!!

I am so sad as the cannas I dug and stored didn't make it. I checked on them and they are just dried up stuff. First time for overwintering them - guess I did something wrong. Need to open up the container where my dahlias are. Hope they are ok....

We do a ton of camping in the summer/fall. It is the next thing to heaven I believe! We do have a nice trailer. Used to tent and HATED that - always cold!!

Well, gotta go strap on the feed bag...

Yup, somebody skipped some posts! LOL here's the info on the job declined and job accepted.

Feb. 25
Well, I'm fessing up now. On Tues. I turned down the daycare job. It was hard to do, but they told me with my experience, I would be offered quite a bit more than their starting wage. They called and offered me $5.83/hr. Yes, it would help out, but even a fast food joint pays more than that!! I guess our kiddies are our future, but they're not worth paying a decent wage for? The hospital oversees the daycare and they are making big bucks, constantly expanding, etc., why can't they pay more? Someone with no experience, can walk in and get a Care Tech. job and start close to $8. They will train. So, I turned them down. If I can't find something else, I will go back to home daycare. I've had a lady bugging me for a year to please start up again.

Yesterday I had a job interview at the School for the Deaf - Relay Center. They do the relay for 26 states from that bldg. I so impressed myself - out of school for 34 yrs. and never had a job doing typing, (excuse me, we are now keyboarding!) and scored 62 on their typing test. 50 was required. How's that for a morale booster! Now, just hope I get the job. They start at $8/hr and have a nice benefit pkg., plus wage increases and bonuses every 3 months! Sounds good, right? Praying I get in!!!!!!!

Mar. 11
....got a phone call a bit ago. I GOT THE JOB!!! HURRAH!!!

Today we had the first test. We all got 100%. Trainer said the next 2 tests are harder so I'll have to study for them. So far we have practiced what to do when you get an answering machine, or a busy signal, or a recorded message and then a live person and so on and on. SO much stuff to learn!

No, I don't really feel like big brother is watching because NO calls are recorded. Within seconds of the call being finished, it disappears off the screen, never to be seen again. It is not stored on a harddrive and retrievable. The premise is, just as your hearing call is gone once you hang up, unless you have a wire tap or something like that, the non-hearing person's call is also gone when they hang up. The relay system matches the telephone service of the hearing person as closely as possible.

When you are being surveyed, a supervisor sits beside you and listens in and watches you - I think. That's only every three months, so that's not too bad. What would be nice would be able to discuss calls with a fellow worker, because some are really funny! But think about it for a minute.... would you like some stranger listening to your calls and discussing them with another stranger? So it's kinda like a legal secretary, you say nothing about everybody. :)

I'm sure enjoying it so far!

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Sounds Cool, Laura! My sister's kid has just one interest outside of "hangin' out" and that's ASL.

Muscoda, WI(Zone 4b)

hehehehe...Oooops! I remember that...now, Kooger. (~sheepish grin here~) I'm really glad you're enjoying the new job. I hope that part of the job lasts as long you keep it. But I have the feeling that you're the kind of lady that wouldn't be in a spot if you weren't comfortable.

Sarv...I started a *lot* of seeds indoors this year as well all the winter sown containers. I had *so* much stuff to plant there was no way I could do it all inside. Hopefully, this will be the one and only time I'll take on THIS much planting in one season. LOL

Hi Darius! (Got any biscotti on ya? Huh? :-) Oh, I'd love some almond biscotti right now...and nice cup hot cup of herb tea.

See y'all in the morning...

have a good night

~julie~

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

darius, your niece could have a really nice job if she sticks with the ASL and goes to school for it. The Center admin has an interpreter for every meeting. She works in the center when she is not interpreting. Courts employ interpreters as do schools and other gov. offices. CSD just won the relay contract for FL so they are soon opening a relay center there. Not sure where it's going up tho. (just noticed I did an ASL switch there, putting the time before the phrase...opening a relay center soon... When we're relaying, we have to change it into conversational English.)

The director showed us his video cam translater today. It's a small webcam attached to the top of his pc and he dials a number, it goes through an interpreter's office, who you can see, on a split screen, beside the director's image. The interpreter then speaks the director's signing to the callee. The callee responds by voice to the interpreter, who then signs back to the director, who can read it right off his pc monitor. Isn't that amazing? He said it is so much faster than TTY... the deaf community just loves it!

A number of the relay operators are taking some ASL sign language classes. The center also offers free classes to the operators, so I sure hope to be able to take in some of them.

Time for a snack and then hitting the hay. Who's brought some baking in today? I'm all out! :)

south of Grand Rapid, MI(Zone 5a)

man, can't sleep tonight - it's 2:49 am on the clock and I decided I might as well get my fanny outta bed - no sense tossing and turning.

My DIL has both of her parents who are deaf. DIL teaches deaf children. I helped her when her aide was sick - man - about did me in!!! She works with preschoolers - couldn't understand them and it was toooo much work. I had to eat lunch with them and take them out for recess etc. Neither of which are things which I enjoy!! I will do it now for her only in a major pinch!!! Besides it is 80mi round trip and the pay is the pits!!

Man, have I got a headache...took some aspirin, but so far it's still there... Been OD'ing on diet coke and I do need to stop it...I feel much better drinking h2o.

Fri I have a busy day - shopping for our Easter dinner which is on Sat. Youngest DS is hosting it and older DS doesn't want to come - he doesn't like gatherings....This is the son who is getting married (shower thing from above). I just can't get it thru his head that he has to give a little for others. I gave him a talking to last night. The DIL has offered to give the shower, but hasn't told the 'bride' yet. They better show up!!

DH will be getting the axe at work soon - he doesn't know it and no wonder I have a headache keeping the info in!! He works in a family business (long story-not worth repeating!!) He'll get 6 mo of unemployment- been there done that before. The economy is really the pits in Mich - the 2nd highest unemployment in the nation. This is one time in my life when I wish I was older and nearer social security!! Talk about wishing your life away!!

Talked to my 81 yr old folks and they are both very sick with the coughing, aching, crud. Aren't well enough to make the trip from Fla back to Mich even. Another worry ....- no wonder my head hurts ! LOL

Well, it is now 3am and I am going to take a couple more aspirin and try hit the hay - good thing I don't have to get up and go to a job tomorrow!!

I have been really dragging lately, hard to make myself do anything. But the last few days we have had good weather and I forced myself to work outside. Well, do I ever feel better! Yep, just the lack of physical activity did me in. I had dropped my membership at Curves, but I think I'll sign back up now.. Or maybe wait until fall so I don't get fatter and lazier next winter.

Sarv, I know what you're talking about with kids (mostly sons, I think) that don't like to participate in "gatherings." I think mine get it from their father. In this family it's caused no end of problems. I feel for you. Sure hope your headache is better after more sleep. You really have a lot on your mind lately. I can uderstand the why's and wherefores of what might be causing your pain. Feel better, fast.

Betty, last summer I spent the season wondering why I lost so much weight. LOL Now I *know* the reason! :-D I don't think I sat down more than 15 minutes at a crack unless I was sitting in the dirt digging (vigorously!) with some kind of heavy tool. The other thing was that I didn't eat when I was supposed to and when I did eat, I ate only what I *had* to. But then fall came, very little to do and very little incentive to even want to move. I think I put all the weight back on when holidays started to arrive.

The moral of the story? Once the weight comes off, I *have* to stop myself from feeling sorry for myself because the flowers went to sleep! LOL And I have to stop feeding myself the junk-food treats that make me feel better.

Nothing new to report from here right now.

Here's hoping everyone has a GOOD Day...I'll see y'all later.

Morning, everyone! I think some of us that live up north don't feel so hot what with just looking out the window and see nothing but snow, seems almost there is nothing to do but wait for spring who is taking his sweet time.

I have two sons I hardly ever see, one lives on NY city, I never see him nor hear from him, he is a confirmed bachelor, guess he has no use for faqmily ties. The other son lives in western Mssachusetts, he generally keeps in touch but not to often, He is married with a six year old daughter and is very devoted to his wife and child, I think that is more important than anything else.

My two daughters live nearby, one just a house awat up the street they are just great,
one has two daughters,17 and 22. the other has a son who has a 3 year old, my GGD. He lives in CA, but is moving back east to Philly.

Made some sweet Irish bread, goes nice with coffee or tee, have some it is still warm
