Going to Home & Garden Show!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

The Washington Convention Center is having their Home and Garden Show this weekend 3/17-20 and we plan to take the Metro down. Hoping I can find a replacement sling-chaise lounge as the one I had was accidentally burned in one of Steve's outdoor fires last weekend and I haven't been able to find one like it around here or online, nor can it be repaired.
I bet they will have oodles of items, I just have to have!

Oh the pictures that come to mind on that fire, LOL. I guess hes practicing.

Im going to try and go to but Ill have to see what else is going on, I do not drive in D.C, I get lost too easy, but I really wanna go, Im hoping I can talk Cesar into it and take as an anniversary gift, now that would be cool.

If you went you were probably as disappointed as I was. I have more flowers in my bedroom! Mostly hottubs. We got a glass cutter for Steve and a bottle of jewelry cleaner. On Saturday went to the garden show locally here at HJC and they had 10 X the amount of floral displays!
Live and learn.

I noticed the same with our locat Home & Garden Show. We really had to look hard to find the "garden area" and it consisted of a landscape designer, a place that specializes in selling cement blocks and bricks, and two nursery's. They were nicely set up, and had some plants, but I would say that 90% of the show was aimed at homes, houses and interior designing. I think that in the future, I'll stick with flower shows. Dotti

Me too Dot, it really was disappointing and we had stopped and picked up Ruth, my MIL, and it really wasn't what we were looking for. Oh well, least spent the day together and had lunch, even if it was a cheesesteak while at the convention center!
