Oh my, I just now found out I won. Yippee! We've been gone all day to Bracken Christian School where 3 of our grandchildren attend. They were celebrating Grandparents' Day. What a nice surprise to come home to. This has been a wonderful day. Thank you so much Shirley.

Kell, I guess yesterday must have been a really special day for me. Since you told me that Tracey wasn't opening store, I finally found a source for Susanne.

Oh, Shirley, I hope these seeds turn out to be really special, and we can all enjoy this next batch of beauties. Once again, thank you Shirley for being so generous as always.

Thanks Julie, but with brug seeds, we just never know. Especially if there is any question about the background. These seeds are pretty well documented.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice color. Maybe it will show you more next summer. This wasn't a good year for a lot of us. Thanks so much for letting me know about your seeds. I've sent out a lot of seeds this year and had very few contact me with results. Makes one want to just grow some and toss the rest. Congrats on this being your first seedling. I think she is pretty, but the question will be is she any better than any already out there. I kept my first one...just because it was my first. I'd like to see this one bloom in the summer. Again, thanks for letting me know about her. I do appreciate it a lot.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Dang, I thought 'that's a great cross, I've got to try for them', then I noticed the post date.

TA, that's a beauty. Good job, looking forward to next summer's blooms.

Huntsville, AL(Zone 7a)

Wow, what a beautiful bloom that is! Congratulations, TA. When you take on the elements and bugs, too, and yet have something that gorgeous grow, you've done well.

~Thumbs Up~

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

Oh..Burgie...
I'd hate to see you get into trouble... just tossing them might be in violation of the new restrictions put on use and disposal of red looking brugmancia seeds... due to their volitile beauty.. and the possibility of them falling into clandestine hands... or use by the bio terriorists... all Brug seeds not sprouted have to go to a national security facility... You are in luck however .. I've gotten approval to recieve.. store .. sprout.. and secure these seeds .. from the terrorists here in my approved secure facility..
We do provide weekly pictures and comments on all seeds stored and sprouted ... so the proud parents and developers can be assured they are being provided for and are doing just fine... OH.. if weekly updates are a bit too much.. you can opt for the monthly updates on their conditions.. or simi annual..
So .. when you are ready to toss them.. or think no one cares or remembers... just let me know and I'll send you the new secure sleves for their transportation to the new approved facility... All the best there ..
Gordon manager of the approved secure brug facility

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I have all the ones that have not blomed inside and hoping they will.
Will keep them all until they show their summer colors.
Will keep this first one just like you, being it is the first one for me from seed.
Will start a new thread when they start doing their thing. LOL
Hoping for you Burgie that you will get a keeper

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

LOL! Gordon, I love your sense of humor and imagination. I'll keep you in mind.
