My reasons for loving Dave's Garden are too numerous to even try to post. It makes all other sites seem to cold and dull.

Ditto golgi - WHAT other garden sites?????

DG is the best place on the net.....period, paragraph, exclamation point, amen!

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I especially like all the helpful features such as the plantscout, garden watchdog, plantfiles. I use them all and also love the fact that things seem to stay forever. You can find posts from years ago. I search for info all the time and get more than enough information to satisfy me.
I also like being able to make friends here. I only make friends with people I have something in common with. This site has so many of those types. LOL

Dave Who ('-'?)

Moss Point, MS(Zone 8b)

I'm a newbie and got addicted immediately. I've been in a wheelchair for two years and one of the worst parts to deal with is not being able to garden like I want. Dave's has become extremely important to me in so many ways. I so enjoy visiting with all you nice folks everyday. I've learned endless new things. I have a neuro disorder and my doctors say I can get out of my wheelchair with a lot of physical therapy. Dave's gives me bunches of much needed motivation that is sadly lacking from other sources just now. For the first time I got out of the chair and was able to crawl around a little in my front yard yesterday. I'm so sore I can barely move but it's great. I've lots of seeds started and with steady doses of encouragement from y'all, I'm going to get my life and my garden back. Thank you all just for being there.
