OK, contest time. March 12th to March 27th. 2 weeks.
Post your spring pictures, any subject goes from baby birds to a crocus breaking thru the snow! Post as many as you want. WE LOVE PICTURES!!! Rule: you must take all the pictures you post.
The winner will be the one that gets the most votes. I will start a vote thread when contest is over in 2 weeks. I will start another contest later for those of you that will not have spring till April. If you fall in between, take your pictures when you can and hold them. You can only enter one contest.
The prize is yet to be decided. It could be a L'A, or RK or even trialing Sexy Lady for me. I took a bunch of Susanne cuttings today so I will root them for this event!!! I believe Susanne was just released!! LOL!! It may even be Red seeds. I will determine it when I see what I have growing well at the time I return from a trip I am taking. Warning: You will have to wait for your prize till I get back from this trip.
edited to add Susanne to prize list.

What says SPRING to you? CONTEST
Spring means bunnies !
charlotte
Oh coffee and I do not mix Carol! Do you believe I have never had even 1 cup?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhb baby bunnies. How did you get so close? They look like wild ones. I thought they made their homes in deep warrens. Remember that great book Watership Down. I loved that book!!
I love that picture Doris!!
I loved that book too. These bunnies were in a slight depression under some tall grass under my grape vine. I used the weedeater over them and then noticed fur. Dug in the fur and there were the bunnies thankfully unharmed.
how about a Wisconsin Springtime snow angel ???
boo-hoo
Thanks kell, and I LOVE your Susanne. I keep looking outside to see if anything is popping up yet, but no luck.

Well y'all are about to get reeeeeaaaallll sick of me. I know, you're thinking "get" sick of you? We got there a long time ago! Ha! Anyway, here is my first one. Sometimes tulips are a late winter thing here, but mine actually waited until spring. I guess technically it is still winter, but anyway... here is some salmon ones I have in a container.
Of course a sure sign of spring is when the redbuds are blooming. I think we have the biggest one I have ever seen, if I do say so myself! :) In addition, the grape hyacinth and daffodils underneath add to the "springy" feel. And the remaining blooms on my winter blooming camellias... may not be able to see that too well in this picture.
But the surest sign it's spring? Those seedlings and cuttings that spent all winter indoors are now hardening off on the front porch. Yeah!!!!! BTW- that hammock swing will get a lot of use by me this spring/summer. So when Kell does a "where's your favorite place?" contest, that will be my entry. :)
