What about a plumeria forum?

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I've only been a member for two weeks and have seen an overwhelming interest from DGers on growing and procuring these amazing plants!!
How does one go about requesting a forum on "Plumerias"?

Thanks,
Randy

I'll add my vote to it! :) I do have *one* Plumeria living in the tundra of Polar Bear Land. (edited to add and two more on their way). Ü

I need all the help I can get to have my Plumeria and Adeniums bloom before BuriedTreasures cold loving zone 3 Peony does!!! ;)

Hi, Lilypon! You are like the fifth or sixth person I've met who are growing plumerias in Canada!
GOOD FOR YOU!!! There's a very helpful forum for those who love plumerias. It's for the beginner to the expert grower. I've learned tons from others on their. I'll leave the link at the bottom for you if you'd like to take a look at it!
Some of your cold neighbors are on there and are growing them from seed as well as trading amongst others!

Take a look around. There are lots of members there to guide and help you, as well as, beautiful pictures of members photos. There are also threads on other plants, but it's mainly devoted to the plumeria.

Randy, you might want to post your idea in the Tropicals forum, too - you're likely to find some people willing to help you petition for a new forum there ;o)

I would love to see a plumeria forum... I have some, and they are just sticks, I keep losing all the leaves, the spidermites love them, and am about to compost them.

Awesome! Thanks, Terry!!!:)

Thank you for the link Randy! Ü Be sure to put a link to this thread with your post in the Tropical Forum.

With your DG name I wish we could trade (or me beg sticks from you)! ;)

You can add me to the list of Canadians growing them, as well as a woman about 45 min north of me. I have 2, she imports, sells and grows. She had about 25 last time I was there.

I'd like to see a forum for them.

I just started on the plumeria craze and would love to see a forum dedicated to it.

I'm trying my best to get the forum started! Thanks for all of the support!!! In the meantime, if any of you are looking for a site to help with growing these try this link http://plumeria101.com/. Although, on this site it gives an example of germinating by seeds with pictures. I have a much simpler way with "higher" germination rate. Just drop me an email and I'll tell you how to do it!

Thanks,
Randy
