So good movie....
I watched it this weekend with a couple friends and it is a wonderful movie.
Another good one that we watched was "Ray". It's the story of Ray Charles. I learned things about him that I wouldn't have guessed.
The Notebook was soooooo good! My DH watched it with me and said it was one of the best movies he ever saw! I had to talk him into watching it. Joan, Ray really was good too.

MD and everybody else who saw the movie I agree with you and husband, the best movie I have seen in a long time even though it reminded me of my now gone husband when I was his caretaker but the happy parts were a joy to see as it was good to kow we had them too.

It sounds to be a moving movie, but I am afraid that I will have to wait a long time to get the CD.Now I am watching 'Gone with the Wind',of which Scarlett O'Hara gives me an unforgettable impression.
Oh that one so good > Gone to the Wind
My daughter made me watch the Notebook with her last weekend, and I am glad she did. A really good movie but I did not find it sad at all! I thought it was so uplifting. She got mad at me because I did not cry with her at the end, but laughed & clapped instead. But I laughed because it was perfect! It was exactly as they would want. A huge thumbs up for this movie!
Omigosh...I just watched this movie last night (my sister and her entire family recommended it) and when I read the title of your post I wondered if it may be the movie you were speaking of.
Definitely a wonderful movie...I highly recommend it.
I am glad you all did chance to watch those movie like I said very good movie and glad you all had enjoyed it.
Jianhua, I bet you and your family will like the movie for sure. ;0)
When I have the chance to watch the movie (maybe within a year or so),I will be sure to come back to share with you.
Once quite a few years ago,my DW and I went to the cinema to see a Taiwanese movie 'Mom,Love Me Once More' (subtitle in English).During the movie was on,she kept weeping and tearing ,which made me rather uneasy. And early the next morning,I noticed that the whole paper tissue roll had been used up by her at one time.Years later, when I talked of the movie and the reason why she shedded tears at that time,my DW gigled, saying it was so moving that tears fell down from her cheeks voluntarily not reluctantly. ):
A good movie is universal.

I watched this movie a couple weeks ago and oh my goodness I bawled! What a good movie. I've seen it two times since then, and only cried harder progressively each time I saw it. I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's and stroke complications recently, so it really struck a cord with me- as I'm sure it did to so many other people. I'm glad I'm not just a sap and that it really was a good movie! Susanne
Well, you're not the only sap.
