They're so cute. What containers are those? They don't exactly look like planter's pots, but maybe that's just the angle.

This thread is taking a long time to open.

Yes, gotta watch out for those turkeys!!

Thanks Karen!

Anita, YOUR Laugh out loud FUNNY! Yes, I had to ride the tractor to fill the pots and I hired a giant Kong to help me with them.

Zeppy, I collected 20 gallon nursery containers from sellers that didn't want them, so they were free. I sawed them (until i figured out my husband could do a better job of sawing than me ;) ---down to within 8 inches of the ground and filled with compost that another county gives away for free.

Should we start a hows your sowing 2 now?? Riker is not here, so should we then?

Oh... and it was an electric hand saw too... not a manual! Gosh the work!!

Finally! As soon as I finish this reply I'll open the new thread. It does take forever to open because it's too long! If you look back to Mar 11 you'll see I asked "Why doesn't anybody ever start a new thread around here?" I think I was very new to DG and didn't want to be too pushy but...
