Carol, we are saddened at your loss. I hope weather conditions will be especially favorable in your area this season and that your efforts will be rewarded with beauty and serenity. Yuska
I have not corresponded with you but you have my sincere condolences. I lost my grandmother a few years ago and it was so hard. We gardened together when I was very young. I am most comforted when I am in the garden . I always think of her there. I feel that your gardening will be of comfort to you as well. May God speed his healing to you.
Hugs & Prayers,
Judy

NancyJean, Loss is always hard. Thinking to throw yourself back into gardening is a good release. My heartfelt condolances.
Carol, I know from the caregivers forum that this was not unexpected, but I am sure that doesn't make it any easier to bear. Try to take comfort in the fact he no longer has to struggle for every breath of air, and he knows how much you loved him.
nancyjean.......Although words seem to say so little, I hope they help in some small way to ease the sense of loss that you're experiencing today. Hold fast to your memories, to all of the cherished moments of the past, to the blessings and the laughter, the joys and celebrations. They all add up to a treasure of fond yesterdays that you and your hubby shared and spent together. The special moments and memories in your life will never change. They will always be in your heart, today and forevermore.....Hugs
Deann
Carol...I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. (((HUGS)))
Nancyjean, you don't know me, I'm new to DG but I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I will be praying for your comfort and peace. I can't imagine the burden of grief you must be carrying. I do know God does and I know he cares for you. If I were going through what you were going through I might be very angry with Him right now and I know that would be ok, He understands. I can't explain why HE does what he does but I know someday He will tell us and it will make sense then if not now. Take care of yourself and lean on friends and loved ones for strength and comfort during this painful time. I'm sure I speak for the folks here at DG when I say we're all here for you if you need to talk or cry or anything else. Take care and know that we're thinking about in your time of distress. Rhonda

Carol, would it be ok if I asked on the prayer forum for prayer for you? This is such a hard time - seems like a time when having DG's wonderful prayer people on the job would be a good idea.
