Yes, let's definitely use the flat rate box, at least until (if!) the collection starts getting light, which may take a while since I think some folks will be adding here & there. And delivery confirmation is definitely the way to go. I think I remember reading that delivery confirmation is free if you print your postage out at the USPS site, and otherwise it'll cost you 40 cents..... ?

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Alica - you need to mark this as "CLOSED" up top or people will keep posting to the thread.

There is also a flat rate envelope for $3.85 if the seeds will fit, or if the seeds go out in more than one package. You can print the label at home without postage and pay at the post office. The PO has $3.85 stamps.

Janet and Farmer Pickle when I print out the labels later today, if I am not at 50 I will write you a note so that you may be included.
I am really concerned even about 50 people and the amount of time it will take to get around to everyone.

I am hoping that everyone will play nice, and get the package back out to the next person ASAP.

I am planning on putting it in the mail on Monday, and in a new post I will list the order that its going to go in. Then from that post we can keep track of it.

If it gets to the point where it doesn't look like it is a worthwhile package anymore PLEASE contact me and we will decide what to do at that point.

Most of the seeds are from my garden, but there are a lot of things left over from trades, or things that I purchased and never used.

This is a photo of part of my gardens very early last spring

By June the Octagon looked like this. It was a definite improvement!

OH love your hibiscus! TFS the photos. Thanks again for doing this also. Can't wait to get it, add to it and send it on for someone else to enjoy.

Oh, Alice - what a lovely garden! Good job!

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I should have some of those yellow hibiscus seeds like you have grown. If the box runs out I will add some more of those. It is always funny how fast things can grow to huge size in just one season.
Where do you get those long wooden logs? Did you have a truck or were they delivered. I always see big things that I like, but don't have atruck to get them here.

Thanks, and LMK!

I was wondering the same thing...

Nobody has missed anything. I just have not been as efficient as I had expected to be. List is ready, seeds are all most all boxed, and my son will take it to the post office for me this afternoon.

I wil do a new post in just a little while and get myself caught up!
