Isnt it amazing

how fast they grow up? This is my oldest Jessica when she was 1 year old. such a happy little face. She was born at 32 weeks and weighed 4 lbs 2 oz. on October 12, 1989

Look at her now! Wow, 15 years old and still growing in every way you can imagine and now weighs 140 "and" shes taller than I am. Im 5, 4 and she still seems to get taller every minute. Oh the memories of when she was new and everything for me was wonderful and so scary I wondered if she would make it. Now there is still something new everyday and still so scary sometimes I wonder if "I" will make it. LOL

beautiful little baby and born so tiny! She must be a lovely 15 year old.They sure do grow up fast, way too fast, breaks my heart.

My whole family is almost used to me breaking out in tears whenever a new milestone is made. LOL. When Jessie started highschool I cried and then I thought about gradutation only being a couple of years away, LOL, I cried again. My poor family didnt know what to do with that one.

Cool :) My son was born at 32 weeks as well and was 4 lbs 7 oz at birth. That was Oct 1, 2004. He's now around 15 lbs and growing like a weed! They certainly do grow fast :)

hc I was hoping you would see this, LOL. You will be amazed everyday for at least the next 18 years Im sure.

Hmmm...amazed? LOL By the time the monster is 18, I'm sure I'll be more than amazed. I'll probably be worried, frustrated, angry, happy, etc, etc...LOL I just hope he's a good kid. He's certainly going to get plently of tips on how to be a good kid though...hehe The teen years are what I dread the most. All the peer pressure and bad things out there for a kid to get into these days. Oh boy...

LOL amazed, awed, scared witless, happy tears, sad tears, loss of hair(from you pulling it out), proud, frustrated and lots of inbetweens. Then one day you will look back and think "wow, how did that happen so fast"?, even tho at the time it felt like it would never ever ever end. LOL.
This one is almost grown and I still have two more to go, OMG!! Danny who is 12 and Isabelle who is 5. I think Isabelle is going to be the cause of me having to buy a wig and color it when she causes it to go grey. But then when you think you cant handle any more they come over to you unexpectedly and give you a huge hug and say I love you. If winter could melt as fast as I do when they do that........

I think that's one of the things I'm most looking forward to... "I love you daddy" :) Right now all he says is goo goo ga ga and all that. He's trying though.

wow Janet shes a bigger doll now!! 4lbs I My smallest baby was 8.2 and the largest 9.4(had 2 that big)

HC I had 5 boys and the first 3 have left the nest-They dont smoke,drink or do drugs. They were into sports during their teen yrs, I think this played a big roll in their lives keeping them doing the "good" stuff in life and my always asking questions about everything. Are you still a virgin? MOM go away!!! ;) Have you tried drugs? booze? cigs? I like to stay on top things! >:-)
Keeping a eye on their friends too!!

Im sure your lil guy will be a good boy-good parents make a world of difference!

I Came from 6 girls no boys! Gave my mom HECK growing up! About 19yrs old i "kinda" got the picture!!! ;)

No kidding about not listening. Oh you should hear my kids telling me to shut up when I start asking those embarrasing questions. LOL Its a hoot. But I know what you mean with always asking questions, sometimes Im not sure whos nerves Im getting on more thiers or mine.

LOL Well, my plan is to turn him into a friend first. I don't have a specific plan of action to accomplish this goal, I can't explain it. But I just want him to hang out with me and we'll make fun of mom together, etc (just kidding...harmless stuff, he WILL learn to respect women, etc...so don't take that the wrong way - I don't want him showing disrespect to anyone). Anyway, I want him to be able to grow up with me being his friend (but a parent as well). I think I can find the right mix of discipline and so on. Probably just hanging out and doing things together will go a long way towards that goal. Gardening, bush-hogging the field with the tractor, going to the Home Depot together, showing him my job (take him to work and show him all the cool stuff in the phone/computer room I work on) etc, etc. My hope is 'those' types of conversations will be much easier this way. I can sort of work/sneak them into a conversation we're having about other stuff.

Your well on your way, my kids and I always have talking jam sessions in the kitchen. We will and have talked about anything and everything.

Oh and I'm glad I didn't have a girl. Only because (as a father) I can think of TONS of more things to worry about all throughout her life! LOL Is she dating a jerK?...Is she marrying a jerk?...Is she really planning on wearing THAT out to the mall? hehe Whew Funny how most of the things I'd worry about would involve who she was dating or thinking of marrying! I guess having been spent a total of 9 years in the Army, I know how some guys can be and I'd worry myself to death about it.

Then you have a clue as to what my DH is going thru right now, LOL. The boy hes not so worried about but we have one more girl to go. I feel for him and his hair, Jessie already has him going bald, I can imagine what Isabelle is going to do to him.

hehe...I do NOT envy him! LOL Good luck....
