what is going on with DG it takes forever to get home, than it takes some more to get to a forum and again a long time to the thread ????? I know it is not my computer since I have no other internet problems.

Here's a graph of the server load from the past hour. FYI: 30 is extremely high and once you hit 45 the server basically stops responding. I figured you might be interested in seeing it.

Yes I am, simply amazing how it suddenly shoots up. Hard ot belief tha t every one seems to choose the same time to post. Is there always a certain time of the day or night when this happens? I am not well informed about such technicalties but find graphs very interesting

Everyone got out of church, (or bed) and logged on to the computer at the same time!

Well, the spike occurred at around 2pm EST so... who knows. Most likely it was a very heavy page getting hit a few times that caused the spike to start. Once it starts overloading, it's like a runaway freight train.

Hi, Dave, is there a timing pattern to the hits/postings? Do most hits occur around 2 p.m. est weekends? Or is it random? Just wondering....Interesting graph.
