Pay a visit to all these Lighthouses in various states and go down Memory Lane. Here you will discover Old Barns, Bridges Lighthouses, Old Mills, Castles, and Old Gas Stations. Enjoy!

My husband loves lighthouses and I am always buying him different little knick knacks to put on his desk. I would love to take him to visit some of them this summer. Maybe that can be our vacation plans for this year, especially since we have not had a vacation since we have been married. I remember going to Cape Hatteras when I was little. Maybe we can go there.

Wouldn't it be neat to see all the light houses, I found a neat web site last night of a bunch of pictures of light houses and where they were located at. Not this summer but next summer we're going to make that trip up the east coast, call it a grad. present for my daughter, going up to maine, and we watn to see the light houses up that way. covered bridges would be wonderful too

Cape Hatteras has a webcam, with 2 views of the lighthouse. One view looks out over the ocean. The pics are updated every 5 minutes if I am not mistaken. I don't remember the website, but just typing in 'Cape Hatteras live webcam' should do it.

I love covered bridges too...here is my very favorite...Humpback Bridge in Virginia...it is just about a mile or so off I-64 near Covington.

I tried to watch the Hatteras Lighthouse webcam but it said that it was unavailable. What is the correct URL for that? Thank you.

Good morning all! I had to jump in here and tell you of my adventure at Cape Hatteras. My late DH and 2 of our grandchildren spent 2 weeks camping there during the time they were moving the lighthouse. It was awesome to watch as the lighthouse inched its way back! It is so tall and when it would move the top would sway ! Scary! lol!
I collect lighthouses and my present DH says if I get anymore we'll have to build on to this house! Melba

I spent nine years in the Coast Guard (electronics technician) three of which were at Cape May, NJ. worked on the Cape May Light House, But More on the ones in the Delaware Bay. Automated by the time I got there. Those were some outstanding trips.
