I have read on many of the forums that hydrogen peroxide is very good for plants. Could someone explain to me exactly what the hydrogen peroxide does to help the plants? And also, how much HP per gallon of water? Thank you.

Hydrogen peroxide
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/423524/ Check out this thread. JLD_II and some others did quite a few threads and experiements last winter with peroxide. A search should find them.
Well I have been reading through many of the posts on using hydrogen peroxide and now I'm even more confused. I have not idea what all of the conversion stuff is about. Also, I am not sure about the amounts to use.
"Some say a couple tablespoons per gallon of water, but some say as much as 1 part H202 to 5 parts water."
Anyway, I am very confused about this. I know that it will probably be very helpful for my plants, but I just want to learn more about it before I start using it. If anyone can help me, please respond. I hope I don't appear to be so stupid, but I really don't understand.
