Does this setting exist?

A setting where all my posts are added to my watched list by default?

I often forget to click the "watch this post" link.

When you start a thread it is automatically added to your watch list. If that is what you are asking. It doesn't add any post you make on others threads to your list. You have to add those yourself.

Hmmm.

That would be conveinent if any post made would by default added to your watched list. Or, make it a on/off option.

Works for all my new posts. Haven't looked to see if you can turn it on/off though. I didn't change anything though and it works.

I realize that all NEW posts are automatically put on "watched list"

I would think that if a person responds to another's thread, that he or she would want to watch it. I sometimes forget to add a thread to my watched list. It would be conveinent to have all posts automatically watched, not just your own threads.

Osteole, If that scenario were true I'd have so many watched threads I'd never get through the day. Sometimes I just want to make a comment and not see what follows.

Oh ok...

I think that's why Osteole was suggesting that it be a user-changeable option. Those that want to turn it ON can and we could turn it OFF if we found it overwhelming.

Yes langbr! Wouldn't that be wonderful. *grin*

Kind of on this same train of thought, would it be possible for the old, pre-enhancement threads we started to be grandfathered into watched threads?
