Forgive me if this has been covered already, but why are the timestamps on messages showing up as 1 hour ahead of eastern time? It's not my personal setting in my preferences is it?
Actually, I DO have my preference set to EDT. Hmmm

Timestamp on messages 1 hour ahead od EDT?
Mine show up correctly as PST.
This is winter, meaning Standard Time and not Daylight savings Time. Try EST.
Hmmm...so I suppose I'll have to switch it whenever the time changes. I am in the EDT time zone area. Just a little west part of IN don't change time in spring and fall. I think part of AZ don't change either and those are the only 2 areas of the country that don't spring forward/fall back.
The system should automatically adjust your time for you when the time changes. In the meantime, you can alter it from your preferences area.
best,
dave
