Here's the link http://www.farmtekcatalog.com/0335.asp
And I got a 15% off my next order coupon. I'm thinking a nice BIG greenhouse...

Great choice! We have two of those 'seed houses', they are great space savers and hold a lot of pots. We keep losing the covers to ours though *G* at least we can buy spares of them now, they've only just started selling the covers seperately here.

Groovy, what a great deal, and web site, Thanks so much.

Stupid me just wrote an answer but forgot to send. I wish I had known those mini-greenhouses were being sold at that location. I bought one last year for $59.00 and thought that wasn't too bad after seeing them advertised for 79.00. I keep it next to my back door under the roof of the passage way from garage to house, when I'm using it. I am afraid I might go somewhere early in the morning when it is cool and forget to open the front, and then might come home to a lot of burned seedlings, so the roof helps to keep from getting too hot. Sure would have liked to have saved about 30.00 a month ago when I ordered a second one. Oh Well, I have it now. Donna

I think I paid about 30 at lowes.try there is you want another.

Washington, PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I had everyone save the little multipack trays for annuals last year so I have quite a few I can use to start seeds. I figure I can get two whole flats per shelf if I want! That's alot of plants, which is good cause I like to share. Julie, there's gotta be someplace that will ship to you. Maybe you can call them and ask.

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

Big Lots carries them also.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

I got one from Big Lots also but check it out, they have one for $19.95 but no zippers in the cover

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

A local store had these for $19.95 last week but I got there too late. It was just as the display model was being taken to the front door. They had a large one that was probably six feet wide by 8 feet long for $79.95 that I was really lusting over. The zipper looked sturdy too. If they have one on Tueday when my cousin is here I am going to get her to buy one to keep at my house. lol After all I am growing plants for her now.

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

I agree, great deal! Thanks for the tip, groovytee. BTW, who's your friend on the floor? Looks like she's just in the middle of a yawn - clearly not as excited by your find as we are...lol

LOL Shannon! That's Spicy, actually, she was trying to chew on it as soon as i took it out of the box. I had to put it in the basement because she wanted to make it her new chew toy...

She's beautiful! She has a great look on her face in that photo. I like her tag...is that one of the engrave-your-own ones they have at PetSmart? We got our Sophie a little blue tag like that, shaped like a doggy-bone - being a cat, she is not impressed!...lol. But it sure looks cute on her. And when it jingles with her SPCA tag, you can hear her running around the house.

Yeah, I can see our cats wanting to dig their claws into the covering of that GH, or jump up on the shelves...but I think it's worth the risk. I'm going to see if I can find a Canadian source. Thx again.

Coeur D Alene, ID(Zone 5a)

Can you use this as a coldframe? I live in zone 5, and am wondering what I can use for seeds other than wherever there's free floorspace in my house.
Thanks,
Mara

Washington, PA(Zone 6b)

I hear you about the jingling. I have two cats and there jingles are both different so i know who is who. Yes, it's a tag from Petsmart. Mara I'm not sure what you mean by cold frame but if you mean just a place to start seeds, that's exactly what I am going to use it for. I'll post a pic once I start some on it.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

I got a catalog just the other day from a company selling greenhouses of all kinds.

Since I live in Ft Lauderdale, I wonder what they think I was gonna buy?
