How do I confirm if a PlantFiles entry is incorrect?

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question, please redirect me if the question needs to be in a different forum! I'm good at redirection! ;)

Anyway, as I've begun to get more familiar with the PlantFiles entries, I've noticed a few things that I think might be incorrect. However, I don't really know how to confirm before sending in an error report. Where would I confirm misc. plant information? For example: There are several entries under the Genus name "Croton." I'm not positive, but I think the Genus is "Codiaeum." How would I check this?

Then, having confirmed something that effects several entries, is there any way to report an error across the board or does it need to be reported plant by plant?

Thank you for any help,
Mary Ev.

This is way beyond my limited knowledge base Mary.

Here's something:
CONFUSED TAXA: The common name croton (genus Codiaeum) should not be confused with the genus Croton. Plants in the former genus are glabrous, whereas in the latter they bear stellate pubescence.

If you do a search within the PlantFiles and then refine the search a couple of levels, you can come up with a seperation of the two listings. If you have corrections that need to be made, send one and/or both links to Admin through the "Report an Error" buttons.
