I was thinking just now now that we have private mail that doesn't involve our email addresses, people don't often use email addresses for DG stuff anymore.

So, wouldn't it make more sense for the trade tracker mail to some how be directed to the reciprocant's private mail here on DG instead of an actual email adress?

The trouble is that the Trade Tracker isn't limited to just DG trades, so you can track trades with folks from other websites, too. If I changed the mailing to the "Dmail" system, then we'd not be able to trade offsite anymore.
