Could someone explain this to me? Is there some sort of rating system? How do I leave feedback for someone? I read the FAQ and didn't see this question answered. Thank you.

Member feedback has to do with plant or seed trading with another member on the site, to distinguish thoughtful and timely traders from those who might not be so that all might benefit from reading about the member's 'track record'.

If you wish to leave feedback for someone, click on their nickname here on DG (or visit their profile through the Member's List) and you will have an option near the top to leave feedback on/for them.
