She has this 1900 coin, also some 1922 silver dollars. I got this information off the internet. Just wondered if any one knew its worth

It all depends on condition, which is tricky. There are some websites that will define condiion, or a good coin shop will.

sgtdot, in addition to the condition (which is generally the main issue) the 1900 Morgan Silver Dollar may have a mint mark at the bottom, on the rear. It may have an O which denotes it was minted in New Orleans, an S which denotes it was minted in San Francisco or no mint mark which denotes Philadelphia. There is also a 1900 O/CC overlap mint mark (CC denotes Carson City) but I don't know the history of it.

If you have any interest in coins or currency and/or want to check the value of your coins, there is a huge show scheduled on March 11-13 at the Baltimore Convention Center. There is no admission fee and if you have never been to one you will see a whole new world (of collecting). Millions of dollars worth of coins and currency on display, and for sale !!!

I also saw a coin show scheduled for February 6 in Towson - Holiday Inn, 1100 Cromwell Bridge Road. Admission free. It's closer to you but will be no comparison to the one at the Convention Center. As darius indicated, condition is tricky. Dealers can be "tricky" also. So don't sell it to the first dealer. Get several "appraisals" !!! Never let them know that you know nothing about coin collecting. Carry a brief case and put a magnifying glass around your neck. Look important ....Just kidding !!!

Hope it's worth a fortune - but don't get your hopes up .....if it looks like it is in the condition of the one you displayed ... maybe !!!
