Help

Go 'Home > Extras > The Dave's Garden Address Exchange.
Having "The Dave's Garden" preceding the actual title keeps me, too, from finding those items.

Do you have to do something extra to be a member of the address exchange? I tried to go there and it said that I was not a member and therefore could not go to there.

Jesse, all you have to do is put your own address in it, then you can view others.

Donna, I don't mean to sound stupid, but where do I go to add my address?

Jesse, follow the links as Ulrich has provided. Note: You must be currently logged in with your DG nick.

Then, select the line that says "Click Here to Add Yourself to the List". You will then get a short form to fill out. Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page when you are finished filling out the form, and you'll be set. :)

Donna, who is not SoCal but a lil further north... LOL

Thank you all for the help. I finally found it and have added myself to the address exchange.

Editted to ask a question.

I noticed that my information, such as my birthday, is not correct. Where do I go to correct this?

If you go to the main page of the DG Address Exchange at http://davesgarden.com/address_exchange/ and are logged in, you should see a link which says "Click here to edit your listing." Hope that helps. :)

What is the Address Exchange for?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

It was begun a couple years ago when several DG members expressed a desire for an address book of sorts for those who traded a lot and enjoyed giving/getting cards in the mail. Only people who were listed on the exchange were sent the list. At first it was done off-site by Flowox, then I maintained it when she was without internet access for a time, then she briefly resumed its maintenance before letting Dave handle it on-site. His method is nicest of all, because it really does ensure only particpants may gain access to the member info and members can easily update their own records.
