Here is the link to the photos of Ambergris Caye, Goff's Caye, Shark Ray Alley and Lamanai Mayan Ruins - Have forgotten who is headed there in a couple weeks, but hope this give you some idea of the area!

I'm going in three weeks... but, down to Placencia...but, might be someone else who announced it.

Shark Ray Alley is wonderful - I snorkled there in 99. Stayed on Ambergris Caye that year...

sigh - 3 weeks and counting....

We stayed at Ramon's on Ambergris Caye, Shark Ray Alley was fabulous and then a trip to see the manatee. Also a river boat up the New River to Lamanai - not quite as spectacular as Chichenetza, but quite a trip anyway.

Must be getting anxious with only a few weeks to go sbarr!!! Sure you will enjoy the weather it was in the 80's over the Christmas holiday.

sigh - looks wonderful.... 2 1/2 weeks! :-) Was in Placencia last year - and headed back this area - hoping to find some property!

Good luck on the property, we were thinking of looking, but just a bit too remote. Let me know about Placencia, heard several people saying they were going there during our visit to Ambergris. Thanks, Candee

Candee, checked out all your photos - wonderful! We're heading to Belize in two weeks!!! We're heading inland to San Ignacio first (exploring the jungle), then on to Hopkins area (just below Dangriga) on the coast, finally ending up on Ambergris for our last three days. Hopefully will have photos to share on our return.
