any interest in a forum on Flower Arranging?

Cape Cod, MA(Zone 7a)

It could include things like cutting gardens, drying flowers, weddings, edible flowers and all types of indoor uses for flowers.

Thanks darius, but I have a bunch of books already.
I appreciate the offer!

A very interesting activity, and one I enjoy, but am already overextended timewise. Good idea, and I regret passing it up.

Hey Oceangirl - I could see us having a thread in the photos forum this Spring. I LOVE making weird arrangements out of what's in my yard. I also am a volunteer to help 'teach' it at a local nursing home for the Senior Olympics! Don't really know how you teach it but I think it will be fun either way.

I actually took some pics last summer of some of the things I brought in.

Maybe if you can't get a forum started (I don't know what else besides a pic or two I could contribute) we can fool around some this Spring with pics and such..

That sounds like fun ,
Nicole, thanks for your interest!
I don't know how you would teach it either, other than helpful comments along the way.
Maybe if you just provide the materials, encouragement, and let them go to town!!

Cindy, In a few months I'll be interested. I'm new to this whole gardening thing and my first priority has been vegetables. My daughter, Mandy, and I have been talking about having a cut flower bed as well as companion planting with my veggies. Have you any suggestions where to start or favorites for arrangements? Margaret

Welcome, Margaret!
I started a new thread about cutting gardens in the Annuals forum..
See you there!

Cindy, I love flower arranging - one of my favorite activities. I'd love a forum on that!

I'll pop over to annuals and look up the thread on cutting gardens.
