Theme-Name for our Garden Club Yearbook and Garden Walk

Hobart, IN(Zone 5a)

My garden club is trying to think of a name for our annual garden walk for 2005. We'll use the same title for our yearbook. We are having trouble coming up with something clever. We are open to anything but are leaning towards an educational gardening theme or a neighborhood gardening theme. Your suggestions will surely be appreciated and more than likely used!

Some examples that local gardening clubs have used in the past are:

Time Began in a Garden
Gardening Is..."
A Garden Spot
Blooming Friendship
The Seeds of Today: The Garden of Tomorrow...
Gardening with Style
Garden Heritage

(Zone 8b)

How about a theme on growing scented flowers and herbs, and those with different textures, perhaps for the blind or partially sighted with a title like:

Seeing Scents and Feeling Flowers.

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

Along the line that okus suggested, how about something around "Using Common Scents..."? :)

Edited to say that I REALLY like what okus suggested, now that I've reread it!!!

Hi Branka,
I used to work in Valparaiso & would often go to the Deep River Park....very pretty & serene. Hobart is such a nice place...wish I had known about the annual garden walk then.

How about;
Meet me (or us) in the Garden
See you in the Garden
Digging in the Garden
Hands in the Garden
A walk in the Garden

Alright, I guess there is a theme I started (in the Garden) but if I think of something different, I'll post it.

These are all wonderful, thanks so much and keep them coming! The group will vote on a name.

Gemila, it's a small world, you are not too far from me! I am just North of the park and love going there and I do a lot of my shopping in Valpo. This is only our third year for the garden walk and we hope it's something that we can continue. We have a good turn out but it's not easy to get people to agree to be in the walk. It ends up being a lot of work for them and usually an added expense because they want everything to be perfect for that day. I can't believe how many beautiful gardens there are in Hobart, it surely suprised me.

We are going out on a limb this year. We are having a two day walk instead one one day, and we chose to have the walk on the same day that the neighboring communities have there walk. There are three garden walks that weekend and the newspapers will have a field day with it. We learned that on "Garden Walk Weekend" that people make it a point to go to all of the walks not just one. We are hoping to draw more people by doing this.
