What happened to the Legume Forum? It's gone and I didn't miss it until tonight when I was searching for an old post.

It suffered from benign neglect, so it was archived for now. If there's sufficient interest in reviving it, we can always blow the dust off and bring it back out. In the meantime, if you recall anything about the thread you were seeking, I can try to find it and move it to the Vegetables forum....

Thanks Terry, it was a post about Prizewinner pole beans, I believe it was started by me, and was a discussion mostly between Horseshoe and myself.

I see this come up from time to time. An idea......

Is it perhaps possible to move the threads contained in an archived forum to a forum that remains which is the "next best thing". Maybe the Legume threads could be moved to Vegetable Gardening. That way if people don't find the Legume forum they would be able to do a search and still find the thread/post, only now it's in Vegetable Gardening.

Big_Red, your entry has been moved to Vegetables.

Brenda, that's a question/suggestion for Dave. My only concerns would be moving all the threads BACK if the forum gets brought out for a second run; and whether or not all threads within an archived forum would be a good fit in an existing forum (and manually reviewing and sorting them seems pretty daunting ;o)

All good points, Terry. Was just trying to help folks not "lose" their threads and prevent more work for an already overloaded admin staff.

BTW....glad to see ya back. Hope the trip was a nice relaxing one.....we sure missed ya!
