penpals for kids

wanted to know if anyone has kids that wants penpals but you dont trust anyone.? well i was wanting to know if you all (dg's) wanted to start one on here? i have a 10 year old and like you know, they want that mail"for them" in the mailbox. they get so excited like we do about our trades. so if anyone is interested plmk you can post here but please email me your addy etc.privatly thxs
p.s. my daughter is so excited .she cant wait to see if anyone will help her out on this. i thought maybe they could swap things like we do as well.like pics of themselves and their pets and maybe seeds that they have grown etc.

moretz, It seems I remember a penpal thing fot started a while ago. maybe you can find that thread and see what came of it.
I'm afraid my kids are a little older now and not into it anymore.

well i was hoping to get one anyway to make her happy, was dissapionted to find out that not one person wantds to be her penpal. maybe after the holidays we might have a chance

Well, you've only given it two days and many folks aren't on the web as they have friends and family visiting, parties to go to and so on. I saw this yesterday, but my 12 year old daughter was at a youth function at church and didn't get home until 7:00am this morning (and she slept until 2:00pm). :) They had a "lock-in". I couldn't even ask her until now.

My Bethany would like to be your daughter's penpal. Our address is in the DG address listing. She also has email and I'll give you that via a personal email. I think they'll have fun. There are so many things the girls can share.

Dinu in India has two daughters who read English and love to hear from America. The youngest is close to your daughter's age.

I've had several children from this area write to them and they enjoy so much getting the letters...and they reply to their new friends.

They don't have internet at home, so they enjoy getting their letters through the post.

mortz i have a 13 year old who lost her only pen pal and trying to find another. i dont know why they dont write anymore as they have been writing to us for three years now. if the age difference is not a problem then let me know and i will get you the addy. my daughter is into pokemon ducks dragons and alot of other things.
