My sis and I were allowed to dig some plants out of her friends yard...
I got several cuttings of PINK honeysuckle! I have researched it and it's an hierloom!
I saw the blooms and they are gorgeous! If they root I'll have some up for trade next year, weeeeeee! And we got tons of kumquats too! LOL Will they come true from seed? Man these are tangy little guys!

the kumquats aren't a hybrid, so I imagine they will come true from seed. You can use them for preserves and this cuts the sourness. You can also candy them. It's a bit time consuming, but you can also make juice from them. Cut them in half when they are nice and ripe (soft, but not soggy), and hand squeeze them ove a strainer (there are lots of seeds) into a bowl or cup. Then use a cup of the juice to a cup of sugar and add water. LOVELY juice!

If you can get a limquat tree, those make the best summertime juice I've had! :-)

Hehe, i've already made juice outta them! Man it was YUMMY! I'm so glad about the seed thing- imma start some now! I think I'll go eat some more, hehe.

I would love to try these next year if you have these varieties. Only if you have a bunch of seeds though. :-)

Here's a picture of the honeysuckle.
I'll add your names to the list. I got some more cuttings yesterday. :-) When I get them rooted I'll post another thread.

I AM looking for Salvia Divinorum "Diviners Sage" if anyone can spare a cutting next growing season I'd be thrilled. :-)
