Anyone care for coffee and....? :-)

Well there was a thread around here at one point that called it 'but first' disease. You get to moving that wheelbarrow and then you see the hose you left in the yard and think, 'but first I'll put that hose away'. So you leave the wheelbarrow where the hose was and off you go with the hose until you see the birdfeeder needs refilling and you think, 'but first I'll refill this feeder'. So you leave the hose at the feeder and take the feeder towards the house, and then you see that shovel that you forgot to put away and it reminds you about that edge you were going to trim, and you think, 'but first...' LOL

Or, I'm gonna move those shelves into that room
but first I'll have to find a better place for that chair, over there would be good
but first I'll have to change the way that table is sitting,
but first I'd have to sort those papers stacked on the table in the indoor lasagna method,
of course f i r s t I'll have to finish cleaning up the kitchen.

And first I hafta get offa DG LOL

Blooms...LOL I was thinking the SAME thing...I'm gonna get those seeds planted "but first" I have to make sure these are supposed to be wintersown, "but first" I hafta sort these into annuals and perennials...but first...

Heck...give me another cup of coffee FIRST! LOL

Angie, I had never heard that one before, but it certainly fits the way *I* do things!

Angie, Unfortunately I incorporate both methods into my life pattern which leads to a perpetual state of chaos... no matter how hard I try to hoe a straight row.

Hello again. I didn't realize my haphazard housekeeping method had a name besides sloppyness, or lazyness or disorganization. The indoor lasagna method really describes my flat surfaces. If it will hold a magazine, catalog, box of seeds or ?? it is employed for that and I have to get out of my own way before I can do anything. However, if I'm looking for something I do know that the most recent additions will be somewhere near the top layer. And now it has a name, thanks Blooms! My hubby is very organized and I know I must drive him nuts! His desk is neat, his shop is neat, etc. Oh well, God puts different types together for a reason.

Dinner is in the crockpot! This probably has a name which I don't know, but here is what is in the pot. It started with 4 chicken breasts that simmered with salt and 3 hot dried peppers while I prepared the rest because it was almost noon already and I was afraid they wouldn't be done in time without the boost. In the crockpot I put a 28 oz can of cream of mushroom soup, a cup of white wine, and a few sliced brown mushrooms, then added a diced onion and about a cup of diced celery that I had sauteed together in a little butter, stirred it all together and added the chicken breasts and about a cup of broth that was left in the pan. In a few hours we'll have it over rice. It smells good already.

It's snowing again but didn't start until after we had delivered a pickup load of household goods to our son and daughter-in-law. Then we had breakfast in town, it is a popular place and the cafe was filling up fast when we were leaving. It is a family owned and operated cafe, 3 family members were working there this morning, and 2 more are employed there. We like supporting local family businesses.

See you later.

Hi Mary...that sounds delicious! It must be 'crock pot' day. I did a swiss steak in mine...nothing fancy but it'll fill us up and it let me play in the dirt all afternoon. (Congratulations on getting aother load of that move accomplished!)

HOOOORAY!!! I got 14 containers planted and outside. (I think I have 110 to go. LOL seriously!) And no, I don't have the foggiest idea where I'm going to plant all these flowers. I think I'm counting on them *not* to germinate. :-D
