Is there a "catch" to this offer?

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Has anyone tried this and is there a catch to it. If it seems too good to be true, it usually is. I just wondered if anyone had tried it. Lou Here is the web site:http://www.cardgiver.com/land6card.aspx

most of the ones i have seen say in fine print at the bottom even on this one you have to complete one of their offers to buy something.

i have checked into these before and it never stops at just one. so i dont do nothing for free like these. always read the fine print but this one wants you to buy something.

Marie is right. You always have to buy something - I've had some that have 10 or more offers to choose from. Even filled one in partway and then decided to delete it. I really don't need the 'stuff'. Maybe you do??? lol

Dispatcher, I have tried it and so has my best friend. We did everything that was asked of us to do. We signed up for Netflix and did all the necessary things but sadly we never got anything. It is just a hoax of some sort. I don't know why people do these things, but they do. Don't waste your money because this will not work.

These things are so invasive, they are like puter kudzu, I am even afraid to pull it up on mine. I run a spyware check regularly and delete about 10-20 tracking cookies daily. Phishing is so prevalent and this is a way for techies to learn where your vunerable.

LOL@ puter kudzu! You need to coin that phrase!

If you do not like getting cookies, go to your browser security settings and check the setting that asks you to prompt for cookies. Then you don't get any cookies without knowing about it. When asked, I usually deny all cookies except on sites that I go to regularly like Dave's Garden.

I don't believe Netflix is a scam, but I've heard their service is not what it used to be. There is a thread about it at Clarkhoward.com: http://clarkhoward.com/p/boards/ch/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=clarkhowardgeneraldiscussion&Number=453962&page=&view=&sb=&vc=1#Post453962

No, I didn't mean that Netflix is a bad thing. We actually have it and it is a great service. I meant that one of the offers was to sign up for Netflix and then we would get the $50 gift card. That is the part that was a lie.
