when you are entering plants and you have filled in the fields 'Common Name', 'Family', 'Genus' and 'Species', and after completing the entire entry is it possible to have an 'Add Similar Plant' button installed that would automatically fill in those fields exactly as the previous entry? This would save a lot of time when entering multiple plants of the same family, such as tomatoes, as you would only have to type in the 'Cultivar' field for the next entry.

Hope I'm making myself clear.

Hi Red,

Yes, this feature is indeed already available, although it's only available to administrators of the site. Our fear has been that if we open the feature for everyone to use, then it might be abused to create a lot of new entries that don't need to be there.

But there is obviously no danger of you abusing it, so maybe I can give you access to that feature. Let me give it some thought as to how I could do that.
