F.A.Q. lacking

How do I add an image to a Plant in the Database?
The F.A.Q. Feature in the DB does not seem to be working.
Or is it just me? LOL

Hi Ulrich,

On the page that corresponds to the plant [in the Plant Database], scroll down to the section titled "Your actions" and select "Upload an image of this plant". On the resultant page, scroll down to the box labelled "Send this file:"; this is where you "put" the image. If you wish to include a brief comment, add it in the box below it labelled "Please give a short ... description...".

When you do the above actions and select "Preview this image" you will be able to see your image and comments as they will appear in the DB and either accept or change them.

Hope this helps,

Sheryl

I know all about that since day one. I was thinking of those who might not.
Anyway, Sheryl, thanks for taking the time to help.
Merry Christmas!

Oops, so sorry. I kept thinking that I MUST be missing something...but I'll buy anything so just in case you really needed help and no one was listening...wanted to help. : )

While I personally found the DB straightforward enough, I had some confusing moments with the journal; I managed to dream up problems that even the Help/FAQ did not resolve. Eventually resolved them via trial and error.

"Majorly" embarrassed,

Scutler's info should be added to the FAQ. That's very good.

Sheryl, nothing to be embarrassed about.

GW, why don't you think "How do I add an image to a Plant in the Database" qualifies?

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Huh?

I hadn't seen the FAQ, to be honest. I thought you were saying there was no instruction for it, and when I read Sheryl's instructions, I thought they were good.

Instead of 'lacking' I should have said 'MISSING' in the title of this thread.
THERE IS NO "How do I add an image to a Plant in the Database" in the F.A.Q. department!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Which is why I said her instructions ought to be included. I am really confused now, LOL.

G'night, Max!

Ulrich

Dave was working in the database yesterday, heres the link to the thread for these reports http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/474592/ :)

The FAQ isn't up and running at present

Thanks - I have fixed the FAQ!
