Here is mine with my grandbabies goodies and a few close ups of some really neat bird ornaments I found on clearance last year. If anyone ever see any butterfly ornaments please let me know or buy them for me if they aren't real expensive and I will get the money right back to you plus shipping.
Lets see everyones Christmas Tree
What nice ornaments. I know of more people doing theme trees this year. If you put up alot of birds Donna, you need a few cats hanging on there also! LOL
Its beautiful Donna! Love the cardinals. Its one of my favorites, but sadly we dont have them here.
Love your tree Donna! Where did you get your Earnhardt ornaments? I have been a diehard fan for years, must have missed these! The bird ones are really pretty too! Happy Holidays, Melba
Beautiful tree, Donna. Love the bird ornaments. Our tree is still in the basement.
Lovely tree, Donna. Beautiful bird ornaments, and I am a sucker for kitties too! I will have to take another picture of our tree and post too. I like the idea of taking shots of individual ornaments. Gotta try that too. Everybody should. Lets see 'em!
Your tree is so pretty, Donna. I saw some of those glass butterfly ornaments at Walmart recently. I will go by and see if they still are there if you want.
Sylvia, your tree is pretty too. Heck I still have'nt gotten around to wrapping presents.
My tree has birds, peacocks and doves. The doves came from the wedding supply department at Hobby Lobby.
Oh fabulous Loretta. Get me about 20 of them. Our Wal Mart has never gotten them. We have a new manager and the idiot has stopped getting lots of things I use and the shelves are never full. Went to other night to get some stuff to make candy for gifts and they didn't even have any caramels. The worst thing is they stopped getting the Scooby Snack stuffers with chicken my dogs favorite treat and no other store around here carries them. If your store has them get me all you can please. These are in a little oval canister. They carry the dog biscut kind which they hate. Really can't understand. They were so popular they couldn't keep them on the shelves so to quit selling them is really stupid. Good idea on the doves too.
Everyones trees are beautiful. I love looking at decorated christmas trees
Got the race cars at Wal Mart there were only 2 then last week I found 1 each of the ball type with the numbers and not very pretty but got them anyway for hubby.

I love everybody's trees. I just love Christmas period.
Gretchen your picture is so neat. The reflection in the window almost looks as if it is either snowing outside, or your whole yard is lit up. I love the little ladder against the tree. It is so cute.
Up until last year, our tree was much bigger, but DH was getting a little shaky on the ladder, so we opted to get a smaller tree. It's easier to decorate, but really not as pretty.

Beautiful trees. I always put up two trees every year and cooked for 65+ but when I had to give up my job, we had to quit being so extravagant. LOL So I divided all my Christmas decorations to the kids and famliy and what I had left I gave to the mexican family next door so those kids could decorate a tree and we don't put up a big tree any more. I even bought a few extra ornaments for my neighbor kids because they said they had never had a tree before and I wanted those kids to have a pretty tree this year.(And I keep their dog)LOL
Ada-that is sweet to share your ornaments. They will probably never forget you. lol
Gretchen that window was made for a Christmas tree, beautiful.
PL-your tree is lovely and looks great in front of the bay window.
I will check on the butterflies and scooby snacks tomorrow. I am going to be close to the Walmart that had them.
Beautiful everyone keep them coming
I can't take any pics of mine because even though I just put new batts in the camera, for some reason I cant find my pics anymore in the computer once I take them. Since I got this new internet provider, everything has changed and it stores my pics someplace other than it used to and now I cant post any.
Sounds stupid but you have to remember that I am self taught on this thing and still dont know all that I should about it!! I have a friend who is very computer literate that comes over and helps me out sometimes but I don't want to bother them right here at x-mas.
When I was with AOL I had no problem at all finding pics or attaching them.
I can tell you about my christamas tree though. I bought my first tree 6 years ago and it is still the one I use. It is 7ft and flocked so heavy with snow that you almost cant see the branches. Bought it from wal-mart and I believe that was the only year they stocked that tree because i've never seen it in the store since.
I use 1500 blue lights and 1500 clear lights on it. I start by assembling the bottom row of branches. Once that set is on I then begin to put the lights on before moving on to the next row of branches. The blue lights are used from the midway part of the branch back towards the trunk so that once the tree is comeplete all you will see from them is a blue glow through the snow. The clear lights go from mid branch to the tips.
My tree is a theme tree and consists only of santa clause and snowmen ornaments, and about 3 dozen assorted snowflakes handmade by my 84 year old grandmother. Every year I try and add at least one new santa and snowman to the collection which is now probably over 300 pieces.
I do have pics of it taken over the past 5 years. If I can get some of them scanned and figure out how to locate and post them i'll get one on here for you all to see.
Cats...your tree sounds beautiful! I would love to see a photo when you can locate them. What a good idea...the way you put the lights on before it is fully assembled....and the different colors.
Please do post the photo even if it is after the holidays...
Don't get too frustrated trying though....and have a Merry Christmas! Ho HO HOoo !!!
Everyones trees are beautiful. David your sounds beautiful too. look forward to seeing a pic of it.
Keep them coming. They are all beautiful, and David, yours sounds beautiful as well. I don't have any Santas on my tree, but I do have a collection of Santas. My biggest Christmas decoration is my Dept. 56 North Pole Christmas village. I add a couple of new pieces to it every year, and it is beginning to take over my house at Christmas time. lol
David, once you add the photos you can go to windows and do an advanced search to look for files that have been modified as of that specific date -- should find them that way, and then you'll know where they are ending up when you upload them from the camera or scanner. Your tree sounds lovely.
All the trees are beautiful!!!
Hibiscus...what a nice idea! they look lovely. They look like a lot of love went into making them...
Wow those are incredible Gloria. Really like them
