Somebody just told me that they have them with the Christmas plants at Walmart....I got mine some time ago, planted in a little shell, and never knew what it was. I went to the Identification forum and it was solved for me! I had a lot of help from the wonderful Dgers in tracking it down. Cutest little thing I ever saw!!

I've seen it at Lowe's, Home Depot & Frank's Nursery & Crafts. In those snail planters. Its best to buy them as quickly as possible after they arrive at the store or they never get watered and die. I'd also recommend taking it out of the snail. As cute as it maybe, its hard to remember to water it and in that tiny thing, I found it hard to water often. Of course mine died because of underwatering. They aren't that cheap either, I believe they are about $7 so I haven't bought another since. By the time they make it to clearance, they are pretty much dried out stems that one would waste our time trying to root cause they are so dead.

Most hoyas & dischidia are almost impossible to hand pollinate because the way their flowers parts are so I think you would have better luck in trading for cuttings. You may want to try the hoya forum since dischidia are also in the asclepidaceae family.

Someone in the seeds trading forum recently had them for 'trade only' ... also looking for rare plant seeds.

I would look for a plant from vegetative propagation instead of a seedling. Seedlings are not always true and seeds are really really iffy. They need to be very VERY fresh. I have this Dischidia with the name D. vidallii HORT. It is lovely and beautifully dainty!!!
