Putting things in the Quote Box

I can't find the thread showing how to put quoted items in the Quote Box. I looked in the FAQ and did a search too, can someone point me in the right direction?

This should do the trick:

use the bracket symbol - not the parentheses, but the bracket symbol and type in the word: quote, then use the closed bracket symbol. Now insert your message and end it with the bracket symbol, a slash mark, the word: quote and finally the closed bracket symbol.

lol - if I gave an example, it would just instantly become a quote!

Vicki, I *just* added it - you didn't miss a thing ;o)

This question has come up a few times since Dave added this ability, so I figured it was time to create an FAQ (I can do things in that format that you can't do in a regular text box - which is why it's possible to display the "how-to" instead of trying to describe it (although Dea did a bang-up job!)

and thanks so much for all the work you do here! It makes things so much easier when you're new and are trying to get things figured out and you know that you can get help so quickly, even though Dea beat you by a few minutes this time ; )
