LOL Brugie.....you're gonna need a new thread by the end of the day! GM All!!!
hi
trying again.
Ronna, glad to read I'm not the only one that does that.
kell - be glad to send you the recipe. would that help the cravings?? lol
scooterbug - I think you're right about the candy coating being 'white' chocolate. The ingredients listed are sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (palm, coconut, palm kernel),whey, soy lecithin, artificial color and vanillin. The choc. bark also has cocoa.
I scroll back up to my last post and read down. Then post again- like I'm doing now! If you don't check, you miss stuff like, oh, the way the game works, or that we are in a new thread, or that there has been a winner for one of the cuttings! So scan up and just "speed read" through them! :)
this would make a nice addition to my brug collection!
My DH is in the Texas National Guard and has been for over 3 years. He was in the US Army for 4 years before that. His NG unit was deployed and stationed in Washington (state) from July 2002 through July 2003. He was in no real danger, but just the separation is difficult. These men and women do make sacrifices for us. I know that first hand now. Some give up a year of their life, such as my husband. Others give up their life itself. We spent the weekend with his NG unit making boxes for those soldiers in Iraq. I can attest to how important it is for them to get mail. And how demoralizing it is to receive nothing. Soooo, PLEASE consider at least sending a card. I cannot stress enough how much it means to them. It is a very big deal to them and they do appreciate it so very much! :)
Jamie
On a lighter note... I am off to post my pumpkin roll with cream cheese filling on Karrie's recipe thread. :O)
Gotta look for that one, it sounds yummy!
Me
Nuttin' honey ? ? ?
Me again. :)
Jamie,
Once I heard Holly Robinson-Peete refer to herself as an NFL widow because of all the time her husband was away from home. During these times, it makes me think of all the family members of those in the armed forces. Without all of you who are left behind to continue & cope with life without them, I believe their job would be harder. I can't imagine myself in your shoes and am not only grateful to all the service men & woman but to their families too. May God bless you all!
If anyone is wanting to help, give www.AnySoldier.com a try.
