Secret Santa 2004

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

quick thank you to PudgyMudpies for your posting! I am at my sisters, here was the house 1-9-05 so far no water on main level just in basement and no way to the place, there are about 10-15 families on my road with same thing going on.

My heart goes out to you...When I was younger, my family home flooded 6 times after major highway construction screwed up the drainage. Thank goodness you are all okay!

Thank you very much momcat; my 'Secret Santa.'
Your seeds arrived today; while I was out food shopping.

We had to dig through another 6 inches today to get out the door!
If I fall one more time on my back... I'll need a ambulance ... LOL!

I am very greatful for what you did for me, in sending replacement seeds and much, much more...
You made me feel happy, since I know I get the 'winter blues'. I haven't been able to stay outside for long during the past 3 winters because of Asthma. Today at least it was a little mild at 20 degrees, instead of 5 or 7.

I'm also very happy that you did not choke me up to my 'eyeballs' with that many 'extra' seeds in each package, at that many different varieties of seeds.

Your Christmas card of 'Curious George' really hit the spot when I got it, upon returning home after my holiday visit with my 75 year mom. I had to stay because Jan 8th is when she turned 75!

Too bad someone ruined the mood by removing the seeds from the envelope as they saw fit to misbehave.

I just keep oggling the seeds and looking them up!

BTW, what kind of seeds are 'Bird's Eyes'?

And which 'Unicorn Plant' seeds are these? There are 2 listed in the Plant Files with pictures.

#1:
Unicorn Plant, Ram's Horn (Proboscidea louisianica)

#2
False Unicorn Plant, Devil's Claw (Chamaelirium luteum)

Can you tell me?

Thank you very much; again.
