Hoping everyone has received their gifts, or soon will! Please drop a note here if you've received yours so we know that the little Efl known as the mailman has done his job!

Oh, Marc! I'm so glad - now if only we will hear from your person...would you like me to send that person a note?

Seattle, WA(Zone 8b)

If you would that wold be great....I just don;t want something to have happened to the package and them not get one. I am more than willing to resend if needed.

Marc

Got mine!

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

My package I've been waiting for, that has things to included in my santa gift still has not arrived. I really don't understand this, as it was sent the same day I sent mail as far as New York, and they've received theirs, and this was just coming from one state away, not clear across country.

I'll give it one more day. If it doesn't arrive, I'll just have to send what I have and mail the rest later on, if it ever arrives.

Sorry mine is so late!

Karrie

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh, Karrie - You're not really late - Christmas isn't until 12/15 ~:-)!!! I'm sure your lucky receipient will understand - I know I would! (Personally I love the excitement of anticipation!)

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Yes, it's just all of these other people already getting theirs - oh well, I haven't received mine yet either, so I guess I shouldn't feel so bad! Let's just keep our fingers crossed that this package hadn't been lost in the mail. I am beginning to not trust the U.S. Mail more and more, everyday.

I just read another thread where someone has lost their Visa or Greencard or whatever that is, because they said the Immigration Office didn't receive her paperwork by the deadline, even though she sent it Priority Mail a week before.

I think return receipts are almost a definite anymore - but they cost more money. Something just isn't right!

central Arkansas, AR(Zone 7b)

I posted on the other thread-don't know if I am supposed to re-post here or not, but I will--better my Secret Santa sees 2 thanks, rather than none, if they missed it earlier.

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

I know what you mean Karrie, I went ahead & got delivery confirmation on my secret santa package because I wanted the peace of mind. I think it is a well spent $.55 and I can follow its progress. Assuming of course the PO keeps it updated. Sometimes the PO is really off and a package can be delivered before it even shows that it left. LOL

Beware of those 'delivery confirmations' on prioirty mail, apparently not worth the paper they're printed on. I sent a package with delivery confirmation on a Tuesday, the internet said it was delivered Friday at 6:55pm (what mailman delivers mail at that time??) - receipeint said nope - didn't arrive, didn't arrive Saturday, didn't arrive Monday - finally on Tuesday they delivered it!! I called the post office 800 number and their response was ' we can't track delivery confirmations' and they gave me the phone number for the post office in NY that was supposed to have delivered it; well you can guess that THEY didn't have anything helpful to say about it either. . ..

so, beware - delivery confirmation is NOT the same as a UPS tracking number! If you want to be sure, you have to get SIGNATURE confirmation or return receipt .. .

ps - I haven't gotten my SS package yet, either - but did get a nice enve from Mrs. Claus!!

Onalee

Flat Rock, NC(Zone 7b)

And I forgot to thank Mrs. Claus!! Thank you, Mrs. Claus :) What a neat little surprise!

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Ho, ho, ho! (Ya think that means that we keep ho-ho-hoping the mail will get everything to us ok?)

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

An extra BIG thank you to Dispatcher1 ~ Lou, for my secret Santa seeds,

THANK YOU

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

certified receipt is like $1.45 or more (something like that) - it was really sad that the post office is so bad - prices have gone up - service down. Perhaps UPS is the way to start shipping things, and then maybe the post office will shape up.

Greenback, TN

I am mailing out on friday - ugh. I hate fighting the lines this time of year but had to find something before I could mail too.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I think you are the only one that caught that...I think everyone else thought Ms. Claus couldn't spell!

That reminds me of a card my sister sent me last year. It was a big Santa made of sand (like a sand castle) and on the front it read: Sandy Claus. Inside it read: Santa's smarter brother.

I do so love Christmas!

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

Sorry I haven't posted before now, just been been really busy.
Hi, Yes I got mine, but can't tell you who It is from.........cause I don't know. We are having alot of rain and I think the pacage got a little damp and the return addy is smudged. But It was wrapped in the prettiest Christmas wrapping paper, and inside it said "Winter Sow"...........now does that tell you who you are? And if so tell me...........lol
I thank you so much for all the seed, I will use them all.
Best Wishes and Merry Christmas

Something very strange is going on Sequee. I sent you an email.

Karrie

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Oh Yeah! I received mine from Mellisa Moner (I think that is what it said) who I think is Moretz. 4 different types of seeds. The only one I could find on the PDB was the watermelon. If someone has pics of the following three, could they share them, also info on how to propagate? Thanks for the seeds Santa!

White Black Eyed Susan Vine
Variegated Moneyplant
Dwarf Purple Fountain Grass Red Riding Hood

They all sound neat - but have no idea how to grow them, how tall, how to space, whether they are annuals or perennials or anything! Thanks!

Karrie

Sequee - I sent you an email - something very strange has happened.
