He looks like he's having a great time! Bleu knows how to swim but was used to swimming in the resacas(see TX forum for resaca pic). He fell in our pool the first day we got him and he hung onto the side like he was dying. We had to pull him out. He's fallen in twice since then and I showed him where the steps were but now he is so afraid of the pool. He stands on the side and barks at the pool sweeper but is very careful not to get too close to the edge. I'm hoping he will get used to it by next summer.
Ah, that is so precious. Poor baby. Maybe he will join you in the summer when you are swimming. Duke used to sit in the sun for awhile and then step in to cool off and do a few figure 8 laps and then get out again. If it was really hot, he would just rest on the step for awhile. I bet, with a little encouragment, Bleu will learn to enjoy a nice cool swim.
