LOL, I know, I know...you're all wondering...a sink?! But, yes, I am all excited about a sink! My darling hubby put this sink in last weekend and I am thrilled! The whole reason I wanted the big sink was for bathing our little ones! Ha ha ha. I know that may sound crazy, but the next time I'm 9 months pregnant (yes, we will eventually plan for a "next time") I won't have to lean over that huge tub and water-wrestle a 2 year old! :)
Look what my DH gave me!
Hey it's a good one too.Stainless Big perfect for a squirming child.LOL.Jody
The finished product! :) It took him about 5 hours to do the entire job, and so far it hasn't fallen through :) It looks and works great! Even the oldest (Hannah -- 3 1/2) can sit in it with her legs completely stretched out! :)
P.S. Thought I'd mention that DH does bathe Hannah and Sarah Grace for me on the weekends in a real, true bathtub :) Splurge! lol.
Very nice and practical. Your DH sounds like a great guy.
I think that is about the nicest gift he could have given you! Bath time can be hard on the back even when you are not pregnant and this way you can have them up at a level to hold on to them better.
That looks wonderful! I LOVE big single-bowl sinks (hard to come by, though), esp. if deep enough (with a high faucet) for my canner and spaghetti pots. If yours holds kids, one that size should work for me.
Congratulations. :)
Wow! Now that is impressive! I seriously appreciate NOT leaning over the tub. LOL I'm a two bowler myself though. ;)
It's been great. Baby Joy looks like she's in an olympic swimming pool taking a bath in that thing! lol :) Hannah loves to have her hair rinsed with the spray hose, and Sarah Grace (aka "Tank", she weighs the same as Hannah) is sooooo much easier in it :) I truly am thankful to my dear Sam. It's even more special that he did it all himself!
Hi HH,
I'm really excited for you. I know what you mean about being pregnant & wrestling that slippery, wiggly, two year old in the bathtub. But it will also be great to bath the baby in it too. In our old house, I was able to sit the baby bathtub in the kitchen sink and I found it easier on my bath vs. in the reg. bathtub.
Congratulations on your beautiful & healthy baby girl. You sure have a beautiful family & great husband, he's definately a keeper. Take good care of him.
Gemila
