slow

not sure if anyone else having this problem but this website is made of molasses today... tried many other websites just to make sure it's not me... but only this one is being a slug. ANy thoughts?

Same here........creeping along....probably at about 1/10 the usual pace

today is extremely slow, I thought it was just me, but on the Brugs forum that's what they're saying also, Annie

Sloooooooow here too, since about 3:00PM. . .finally gave up and took a nap. Still slow. Thought it was my computer. . LOL

ditto here. website was "smokin" between 10AM and Noon EST today. But has been painfully slow for the past hour.
BTW, not a complaint (I LOVE this site). Just an observation.

Slow is NOT the word! Molasses is more like it. It has taken me almost half a hour to read and respond to four threads and one DG mail.

Ditto, very slow here for us, too. I can't imagine what it's like for dial-up users. Other sites are loading fine, just none in this network.

I'm on dial up and just waited for almost 3 minutes for just this thread to come up so I could respond. I hope it cures itself soon or I'm gonna give up and go to bed.

Ahhhh....seems to be perking up a bit now. Phwew!

Edited to say that the reprieve was short lived. Back to being slow again.

I'm sorry y'all. It is slow (although at times it's a bit faster now.) It's nearly 10:30 CT, and I'm guessing he's already packed it in for the night. I know it's a pain to wait for pages to load but I don't disturb him this late unless it's a true emergency (like if the system completely crashes and doesn't restore itself in a timely manner.) He normally checks in pretty early so I'd guess he'll be working his "magic" tomorrow to find and fix whatever caused the problem.

I am completely ignorant of computers - they just mystify me. When it was so slow last night, I thought it was my fault as I had just downloaded t wo new programs, so I reinstalled everything and was hitting every button that I knew!! What a laugh. Glad it was just a slow down here, things are back to normal on my machine - that alone is a miracle , considering how many things I did to my machine last night!! LOL
