Wow, what a beautiful way to start the day, viewing all the winners (there were some terrific ones that didn't win too!!). . .just another perk of being part of DG family. Thanks for making my day. ;-D Janet

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Dave, you are right, there are some stunning photos there! Congratulations to EVERYONE, you are ALL winners!

Dublin, OH(Zone 5a)

This makes going into winter a bit easier :-) So many beautiful pictures to look at even though there is 3 feet of snow outside.

I swear I could smell the roses.

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

Congratulations to all. Great shots! I will be back when I have more viewing time.

Cedar Springs, MI(Zone 5b)

Hey I placed in the roses and container categories!
Thanks to those of you who voted for my photos!
I was surprised there wasn't more voting.
I think maybe theres still a lot of people that don't know about the contest.
I know I didn't know about it until somebody suggest I enter and told me how to do it. Guess I don't come to DG forum enough.
Well anyway what a lot of beautiful photos to enjoy and inspire us.
I know I had fun looking at them and voting for my favorites.
Thanks again, CR :))

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I just LOVE that pic under miscellaneous, from Pot em Up - the Halloween Sunset. I would love to have permission to use that pic for my desktop.

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

Congratulations to all the winners! Gorgeous pictures!!

GOD's Green Earth, United States(Zone 8b)

Congratulations to all the winners and I agree -- everyone who submitted photos was a winner! And, thank you so much to those of you who voted for my entries! Gretchen

Pine City, MN(Zone 4a)

Lots of great shots. I have to get some morning glories someday!

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

Just happened upon this today and want to thank everyone who thought so kindly of my photos. I worked quite hard to design the "most unusual" and flattered that I accomplished just that.
Congrats to everyone who submitted photos and thanks to all who voted.
The photos submitted were all winners in my view as it was very hard to select a favorite when voting.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Just found this thread and enjoyed looking AGAIN at the photos. I was delightfully surprised to find my win in Lilies! Thanks to all that appreciated the photo....its was truly one of my favorite pics of this past season.

I really enjoyed looking at all of the submissions.....some categories it was tough to pick just one favorite so I didn't. I voted for all that really "struck me". We are truly a conglomeration of talented photographers.

Little Falls, MN(Zone 4a)

Congrats to all the winners...the photo's are great....and thanks for making my lily photo a winner!

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

Congrats everyone! All the photos were great!

I wonder if this contest could/should be moved to the dull dreary months when everyone is a little less busy? And starving for pretty pictures and memories? I know I meant to come back and finish voting, but garden cleanup and life sure got in the way. It would also be a neat idea to use the stickys or reminders somewhere...like when we click on home, any important announcements could be made? Like Terry's current request?

Dave, do you know, or can you find out how often most of our members even check this forum? I saw where some of our folks were totally unaware of the contest :(

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Just saw this - thanks for the votes on MG's, y'all.

I think a cabin-fever photo contest would be a great thing. Some of the category winners had only 1 vote, and that shows folks were busy and didn't know/take time to vote. Were there as many submissions this year as last?

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Hello Anybody out there, what is the difference between a Datura and a Brugmansia?

Lewisburg, KY(Zone 6a)

I agree on the wintertime contest. Perhaps more would be submitted and there would be more time to view the entries.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I'm with Ulrich.......I voted willy nilly in that category because I'm Brug/Dat challenged. lol

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

This one may help you (and me) see the difference.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Oh now that's a perfect way to remember. Easy!! Thanks, Laura.

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

YW! :)

OSAKA, Japan(Zone 9b)

Congratulations to all the winners!
And lots of thanks to all that participated and to all that voted
for my container entry.

Thank you again.

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Thanks, kooger and Shelly21; that sure helps.

Hobart, IN(Zone 5a)

Congratulations to all of our winners. The pictures are great!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Great pics!

All ya'll did fantastic! So many good pics to look at! Ya done good!

Congrats to all the winners! Personally, looks to me like everyone was a winner, the entrants as well as all us "judges"! Like I said, "Ya done good!"

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

When do you start taking entries for 2005? I think this needs to be 'advertised' more, I didn't know about it either until it was almost over (I found a link to the voting here). Maybe put a notice in each of the forums that the contest has started and another when it's time to vote . . .

just a thought. . .

congratulations to all the winners - - - GREAT PHOTOS!
