I currently pay as many bills as I can via the internet, banking on line, etc. It works for me. No late payments unless I run out of money. Retirement living pay has its limits.

Fremont, CA(Zone 9a)

The mileage rate given by IRS for operating a car for 2005 is 40.5 ¢. Seems to me 41¢ is still a bargain to get a letter all the way across town, let alone across the country.

Everything else has gone up, why not postage?

Now...about the service.....?

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

It's a bargain even at 41c a stamp.

Crossville, TN

.....and I remember the 3 cent letters and one cent postcards!! Seems like only yesterday! LOL Jo

That's what I say, too, Angelsong. Just think about Priority Mail -- For $3.85 right now, you can send an envelope stuffed with papers clear across the country in 2 days, and in a nice thick envelope free from the Post Office. To me, that's great!
