Seems like a good time to give thanks for this years blessings. I am so thankful for a new Grandson, (Eddie Alexander) my DD waited l5 years for this little miracle to arrive. Always good health and my wonderful family. On the lite side, my puter, a really good garden, hugs, dark chocolate kisses yum and being able to come here and be part of this wild, crazy AND super bunch of Folks! How about you all?

This year I'm thankful for........
Meems... it's a good time for serious reflection for me this year. I live alone, in a new town, and had considered inviting myself to share the day with any friends within a 2-3 hour drive for the day. There are quite a few, including some on DG.
In the end, I decided I preferred to make a lovely dinner just for myself (a little cornish game hen instead of a big turkey) and spend the day really focusing on all the things for which I am very Thankful. If it's warm enough, I hope to do some of this outside by the creek.
Certainly, I am Thankful for my DG Family, as you all sustain me daily. But there's SO much more that I am unable to articulate it yet.
For home and hearth and family
For fowl and fur and every tree
For gardens dormant and verdant
For loves earthly and heaven-sent
Thanks go to Thee
I can not say it better gardenwife.
