This is going to be funny!

Maben, MS(Zone 7b)

Miss vegan was awful, if I had been cajun Dad I would have told her she couldn't talk to my ZZ like she did. I was hoping the dog would bite her. LOL

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Paul, That is fruits, nuts, and flakes thank you very much. Lol

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

:)

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

heck, mel, I was getting hungry just watchin' all that good grub being piled on the plate. ahhh, Louisiana, home of the fried everything....no wonder the fried turkey came from down here! Bring on the cholesterol...and bring on the polyester too! Give me my backwards and behind thinking...don't put a clock in house either..did I tell yall I have many clocks and none work?...ha, but at least we can spell "monkeys" ;-)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

That killed me...Monkeys. I admit I have had to look it up before when spelling it. That woman was so cocksure of herself, she didn't even bother.

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Oh that was great when people showed up early. I laughed. They left early too. LOL

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I couldn't believe she was rude enough to complain to them all when they did show up early! How ungracious and unwelcoming can you get? I would not dream of doing that to guests.

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

I don't think we can condemn California & vegans. I think that lady would have been rude if she lived in ANY state. Not a happy person!

Benton, KY(Zone 7a)

I have some vegan friends and they aren't like that lady at all....I think Wanda's right....if you are happy within yourself, it shows....if you are not....well, it shows more.

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

I have to agree!
Rude is rude, meat eaters or not!
believe me, we have plenty of fruits, nuts and flakes here too! shootz, I think I fit in the 'nut' catagory real easy..

Crossville, TN

Lisa...I think you are one of the SWEETEST NUTS I have ever met!! (put that in my PRAH-lines! LOL Jo

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

There are obnoxious activists everywhere, you're right. Just seems like they're concentrated a lot in California because of the entertainment industry. I won't go any further. ;)

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Or maybe California tolerates it more.

Iowa is a state of hunters--most of our kids learn at an early age. My daughters don't hunt, but they both have had bows & small guns for target shooting. We have 2 hunting dogs. I have a niece who is vegan for health reasons. Her children eat a regular diet.

Iowa's winters are so brutal that any "lightweights" who move here leave the next spring. We export to California.
